remote mount turbo primed and oiled by dry sump

hi folks, I don't have a S-chassis but a U-chassis (Altima) and I'm contemplating changing my setup (front mount equal length) and running remote mount *under the rear seats where the fuel tank used to be*. I'd like to ask if you can use an additional stage/pump in a dry sump pump in order to provid...

oem information inquiry

I've asked before but I don't remember...

What angle is the KA mounted at?

I don't remember this type of information on the fsm.

interesting. and it looks as if there is more material between the combustion surface and the positioning of the 1st ring.

appreciate the noticeable upgrades. curious as to how it will perform.

Re: New wiseco HD pistons?

What's the purpose of the groove in between compression ring 1 and 2?

I tried to look it up online and it seems more prominent with custom pistons than base level aftermarket manufactured ones?

Re: New wiseco HD pistons?

Interesting. I like the reduced skirt area design. Duno what that groove is between compression ring 1 and ring 2.

I wonder if this will heat up much more than the older design/cp/etc.

Is this just the one that you designed with them or is this the one that they'll full out manufacture?

Re: MINI VAN WITH A DIFFERENCE

I've always been told (mostly reading *forced induction - performance tuning A. Graham Bell*) that a plenum should always be 1.5 times the size of your combustion volume in order to get the correct air densities for boost.

Re: MINI VAN WITH A DIFFERENCE

I have no idea how your engine is effected with boost and no plenum.

Your intake runners are so long, they should hold enough pressurized air after the TB

Re: MINI VAN WITH A DIFFERENCE

I'm curious to see how your turbo setup will run without a plenum.

This is like, the most insane and ridiculous engine fitment and it's AMAZING what you've managed to do with such an awkward space.

Very appreciative of your efforts!

Re: MINI VAN WITH A DIFFERENCE

photobucket is making me angry also as I try to get into your private gallery lol Where are you located in the UK? So your alternator is mounted right in front of the turbo? or is it on the other side? I see what looks like an A/C bracket. Very interesting head design. It's like the altima's, except...

Can you take a picture of the engine bay, relative to the car? I'm having a tough time seeing where the engine is situated in the car, even though you explained it. That intake manifold is very unique for the ka. first time i've seen it. what year is the car? how was your powerband before turbo? loo...
