Are you referring to re-assembling everything? Cuz I'm gonna do it myself.

I'll just look for a more accurate set of mics then. Spend the money and have the added security.

Tools required for engine rebuild/clearance checking.

alright, so I'm balls deep in rebuilding my KA. I've got the block stripped and ready to be machined. At the machinist I want to have them: Bore for 89.5, hone, hot tank, squared/deck, and install new freeze plugs; hot tank the head and square it too; and finally polish the crank journals. So I real...

You're not a retard. The people that keep asking me why I want a SMIC and keep telling me to get a FMIC are.

Basic reading skills escape them.

Thats basically what I had setup.

And no, I dont WANT a FMIC. It has nothing to do with the price.
I will have a properly ducted, SMIC.

Nope. This car will be finished at 300hp at the flywheel.

If I wanted more power, I wouldn't be using a t28.

I'm going for 300hp, reliable and indestructible.

cuz I won't have more than 300hp. I'm not worried about the rods. and I want to spend the money on other things. Rods are still like $400. Do I need any other hardware when I get either of these daughterboards? NisTune has a base programmer on the site.. whats that? its not required to change my map...

Calum doesn't have anything for OBD2 yet huh? and I'm rebuilding a KA for this. shooting for 270whp @ 14psi. Do you think I'll be good enough with just pistons? of course overhaul everything else.. ACL bearings, ARP main/head/rod bolts, haven't decided on what pistons yet, but 8.8:1 CR, stock rods, ...

Well efficiency for a t28 is 14psi.. so I'm gonna stick in there somewhere.

Is there anything out there now better than Enthalpy/JWT stuff?

If anyone says bikirom I'll stab you in the face.

KA-T28 at 14psi : tuning?

I'm getting back into the KA-T game, its been a while for me. Going with bottom mount t28 14psi. stock Sidemount blah blah Should be somewhere near 260whp. Questions: 1. will an SAFC offer enough correction to support this power or do I need a better stand alone? 2. I feel like 370cc injectors may n...

Car missing, random AFRs, and other issues. Please help!

So as I was leaving my house to take a friend home.. (this was at night with the car cold) I was part throttle, maybe 1/2 no less.. and the car fell on its face. Power choked, AFRs went extremeley lean and then went back down. this happened maybe 2 more times maximum, and then everything was okay ag...
