Sounds like the turbo just can't give enough boost. From the specs you've given it sounds very similar to a t25, which coincidently do the same thing as you described. (spike to 15psi when first hitting boost then die)

I took my catchcan off and checked for air leaks, huge leak in the plastic tube that shows how much oil is in the can. I fixed that up (removed it and put bolts in the existing holes to cover them up) checked for leaks again and this time is 100% airtight. Anyone know the answer to the other questio...

whats the point of blocking the PCV valve? i dont think your engine will run right with out it. you need to hook your catch can to the valve cover breather then to the intake pipe. hook your PCV valve back up and you will be in business. Because when the PCV sees boost it closes, so there's no vacu...

Vacuum lines for Oil seperator/PCV

Hi all, i've read every PCV thread on these forums and am still puzzled as to why mine isn't working like it should. My setup: PCV blocked off, hose from oil seperator going to catch can then from catch can to the turbo intake after the MAF. The rocker cover just has a breather on it. My problem is ...

No, you need side feed injectors, rx7 injectors are top feed.

12psi on my gtir T28 is the limit for 370 injectors, hits 101% duty cycle but still has an afr of around 10.5:1 across the range.

Of course this may vary from engine to engine but this is what i'm experiencing.

Run that hose to the turbo intake via a catch can and plug the hole at the intake manifold.

This way it will always see vacuum and get rid of any crankcase pressure.

sr t25 vs GTi-R t28.

It's a lot bigger :) This turbo can easily hold 15psi all the way to redline, the t25 couldn't even hold 9psi after 5000rpm :?

Not sure about how much more power it has at the same boost..

You need to reroute the hose coming from the PCV or else you're pressurizing the crankcase..

Check out SHIFT_KA24DET's post in this thread: viewtopic.php?t=3725&highlight=crankcase+pressure

Re: MAF question

If i'm Running stock internal on a T25 do i need to change the MAF? if yes will a 300zx MAF do? and will a 10:1 FMU be good for my set up? No you won't have to change the Air Fuel Meter (AFM). The T25 won't have enough balls to max it out so you won't need to upgrade it. No idea on the FMU, maybe s...

the intercooler may be too large, it could give you a pressure drop. SAFC2 only adjusts fuel. Boosting around 10 you will need something to adjust your timing as well.. or you can manually retard it at the distributor about 4 degrees but you'll idle like crap. you can drill it with the pan still on...
