I took my catchcan off and checked for air leaks, huge leak in the plastic tube that shows how much oil is in the can. I fixed that up (removed it and put bolts in the existing holes to cover them up) checked for leaks again and this time is 100% airtight. Anyone know the answer to the other questio...

whats the point of blocking the PCV valve? i dont think your engine will run right with out it. you need to hook your catch can to the valve cover breather then to the intake pipe. hook your PCV valve back up and you will be in business. Because when the PCV sees boost it closes, so there's no vacu...

Vacuum lines for Oil seperator/PCV
Hi all, i've read every PCV thread on these forums and am still puzzled as to why mine isn't working like it should. My setup: PCV blocked off, hose from oil seperator going to catch can then from catch can to the turbo intake after the MAF. The rocker cover just has a breather on it. My problem is ...

You need to reroute the hose coming from the PCV or else you're pressurizing the crankcase..

Re: MAF question
If i'm Running stock internal on a T25 do i need to change the MAF? if yes will a 300zx MAF do? and will a 10:1 FMU be good for my set up? No you won't have to change the Air Fuel Meter (AFM). The T25 won't have enough balls to max it out so you won't need to upgrade it. No idea on the FMU, maybe s...

why only two resistors? shouldnt you have 4, one for each injector? and what wire do you put them inline with? yeah there's 4 resistors, That last pic just shows 2 of them in - I was half way through the job. You put them inline with the + of the injector. So, you find the 4 ground wires of all the...
Direct copy of a post I made on another forum I'm on: So yesterday (yesterday as of an hour ago) I installed the replacement injectors. Everybody loves pics, no matter how insignificant they are so here they are :P The resistors, 1 for each injector, to allow the low impedance 370cc injectors (3ohm)...

Ok, well since my last post my safc2 has finally arrived from overseas, so i've installed that together with the new 370cc injectors. Today I took the car to the local performance shop where they're making a manifold, the intercooler piping and 3in dump pipe to my existing 2.25in exhaust. I'll upgra...

the intercooler may be too large, it could give you a pressure drop. SAFC2 only adjusts fuel. Boosting around 10 you will need something to adjust your timing as well.. or you can manually retard it at the distributor about 4 degrees but you'll idle like crap. you can drill it with the pan still on...

Seeing as I've got one thread going I may aswell keep posting in here and use it as a worklog :) Last couple days I've got a hold of a few things. I got 4 370cc injectors from a ca18det. I trial fitted them and they'll be a direct fit into the stock plugs with a bit of drilling to remove some plasti...
