... and this is why there are threads about Cometic gaskets being bad... not because of their quality, but because of their users. I have yet to have a problem with a Cometic in any motor.

It's very doable - the shop I sold my S14 to switched it over to E85 for a streetcar for the owner. I drove it a couple times on e85 but it wasn't the same car. It was like driving an RS4 with a roll cage. It just didn't seem to have to snap and bang it did on VP 110. Just my 2 cents Boost for boos...

ARP 11mm l19 head studs, cometic gasket, good machining, good tuning. Its pretty simple.

We switched the turbo out for an s372 just to see the difference but we felt the gains weren't enough to justify running a 5mm bigger turbo so it will stay on the s400sx3 67mm.... for now.

Why is the HP number maxing out so early and then keeps falling? My guess would be that the turbo can't keep the pressure up since it's maxed out? Correct. Turbo is pretty much done. It'll spike my target boost but then drop a bit. We got it to maintain it by exponentially increasing the duty cycle...

Motor has more in it. The turbo on the other hand is tapped out. We are also sitting at about 92% duty cycle on 2300cc's worth of injector. If we had more turbo, i would just bump the fuel pressure up to get more out of the injectors. The bosch pumps work very well at high pressure.

What gasket is in it now? 600hp shouldn't be stressing 11mm studs or a metal gasket. There might be something else wrong with the setup.

My word of advice is... if you are not experienced with your particular engine management... don't go trying to start up a freshly built motor or you will ruin the most important part of the break-in.

Vanjen clamps work off the same principle as wiggins clamps. They work perfectly for intercooler piping as long as you understand their range of motion and apply them to your setup correctly. I know from first hand experience because i have them on my wife's daily driver forward facing evo and we've...

The chart is just a guideline to get started. The amount of boost a system will see with any given spring varies from setup to setup. Install the spring you choose from the chart and go test. Go higher or lower from there.
