whats the best compression to go with at around 400 horses? 8.5:1 JE forged pistons, 9:1 Supertech Forged Pistons, and 8:8.1 Arias are pretty poplular. I'd check out some of the "Rides" on the home page and see what pistons they are running. Karey D's seems pretty applicable to your build...

probably between 26-30. You just have to experiment. When you get on it, if the car starts to bogg in boost, then the spark is most likely getting blown out. So you get out, regap the plugs and try again. It helps if you have a wideband as well. Oh and don't listen to anyone saying you have the wron...

I say that the general consensus is to use NGK BKR7E's. Part number 4644. Gap them according to your boost level and to the point where you don't experience blow-out. The general gap is 28-32.

simply ballerness. But, besides that I would imagine it will help bleed and regulate boost for high PSI and high horsepower applications such as what Duron is planning.

Way clean car. It good that you have a garage, frisco sucks for parking. My sister goes to San Francisco State and just walks and takes the subway everywhere. What are your plans for a turbo setup?

I saw the 240 with the RB tonight, it was pretty sexy but I just can't see myself getting rid of my S13. This love affair I love with KA-T.org is stronger than I knew. My wife even loves it! Thanks for your input guys and long live KA-T.org.

yeah its always hard to know the caliber of craftsmanship with these "built" motors though. The S14 needs some major cosmetic work (removal of body kit) but if the mechanical aspect of it is sound then it could be worth it. Im meeting up with him hopefully tomorrow and I will go from there...
