The whole point is to get spool and boost at launch. You cannot rev and expect boost from a launch with a 2step or dual rev limit no matter how little. You may get a few psi, but the point of these setups is to leave or launch under boost...preferably high boost :)

Looks like if you can fix the 23psi spike you might make up some midrange, not much but looks like a little left in there. I'm sure your getting a little out of the range of that turbo over 20psi. Either way those are solid numbers, congrats to you

AEM 2step fun

Just screwin around here one night. Fuel cutoff at 5500rpm, ign cut at 3500rpm. So at 0 mph, 3500rpm I get 15psi which is a hard to control 330+ rwhp launch :)

Oh and my last dyno session, we just tweaked fueling, timing looked fine at the higher pressure range17psi. You start messing with timing and you have to redo fuel, assuming timing looks good, adjusting fuel is all that was necessary for me. Sure paying more money they could devote more time, this t...

I hear you , but let's say using boost comp method, you find fueling and timing for xx psi. Once the riming and fueling is set, you can calculate any psi higher or lower and have It defined without ever touching it. In other words, it's fine

Although it is somewhat conservative, it is tuned above 3 bar And there shouldn't be a need to change timing since it's already there. Fueling is different and should be adjusted when you need. btw what pistons are you running? Numbers are fine for psi as well, be happy

The aem wizards do alot, you choose either fuel or ignition cut( I prefer fuel cut), set rpm engage, mines at 3500 at 0-5mph, fueling is the equivalent of 5000 rpm worth. You can play with it, it's very easy usuing the wizard. When done, smash the gas and hold on

Aem has two options, but yes it does retard timing, dumps fuel, creates xx psi at 0mph. Terrible on the valve train, but makes for a great show ;)

Tommy you ever try studs and nuts. I know that its upside down, but I have never had a problem using a stud and nut. Even on joels everything seems to hold up ok on the bottom mount

I run a 1611 on a ob1 s14. You have to pin a map sensor if you want one, otherwise you just cut and swap the ait sensor and one other which you can find on thediagrams listed above, or on aem forums.

Saints over Cards (they allowed gb to come back and score 45pnts)
Dallas over Viks (cause I want to beat them in NO for the NFC title)
Baltimore or Indy (toss up, battle on the line whoever wins that battle wins)
Sandiego over NY ( I just dont hink they can overcome the chargers)

well, Im in the middle of finishing this and I got a conversion harness I found on craigslist, which it allows for me to use the tuned s13 ecu. I could have got a tuned s14 ecu but that would have been 3-6 week wait depending on from where it comes from and anywhere from $450 to $600. To use the s13...

Tial Wastegate Leak

Ill make it short. Anyone know if my wastegate should be loosing boost through the top hat and through the piston. I jsut replaced my diaphram and this sob wont stop leaking. Im giving it a regulated boost source to check and the gate, it cracks at around 7 psi but opens fully to 15 psi on a 7.xx sp...
