yeah, porting heads without a flow bench isn't very good practice. even if you've been porting heads for millions of years, if you're not familiar with that particular head and have flow tested it, removed ****, and tested it again, you can actually make it flow worse very easily.

here's the scenerio: i'm swapping in a lower mileage sohc and doing a 5spd swap at the same time. engine and 5spd parts are in, but i'm not getting any spark from the coil. i've swapped out the coil, and still nothing. i swapped out the ecu, still nothing. i don't know where to go from here. i'm not...

holy crap, that sucks... it seems that Formula D hasn't been picking the best spots to hold their events... (I didn't go) buy all my friends went to the one here in Chicago and the track was small!! a lot of the drivers hit the wall, even Alex Pfiffer wrecked that s2k! the chicago track was INSANEL...

Splittlng hairs here, 9:1 is hardly high compression. Especially when the late '88-early '89 SOHC blocks came with that ratio. Which I believe is all the "Nismo" 9:1 pistons are. If you were running like a 10:1 or 10.5:1 with boost like a Honda it'd be a different situation. So to refresh...

You can hook put the flywheel and starter on, and jump 12V across it to turn it over. Make sure you have the motor chocked up good so it doesn't move though. i've known about that for a while now, but i can't get any of the files to open after i downloaded it. i open the zip file with winzip, and upgraded to the latest version of acrobat reader, but it still won't open any of the files. any ideas why?

eh, 2mm isn't bad. is the wheel scraping the housing? if not, just slap it on and run it. or demand your money back. it'd be a pain in the ass, and you may never see your money, but you could at least file a suit against him for wire fraud.
