sounds like you already figured it out by swapping ecu's... Also, check to see that the ECU is grounding itself properly. On my KA24DE the bolt that holds the ground wire is between the exhaust mani and the vavle cover. The bolt had vibrated loose enought that it would un-ground the ecu and the car ...

no, they are not. They differ sometimes in outlet, exhaust, and o2 housing flanges.

150 is a preety nice price for a t28. Basically, you'll want to grip the ends of the blades with your thumb anf index finger and try to wiggle the shaft. If it feels and sounds like a loose tooth, it's probably not a good idea to put on your car.

I dunno how it is on the biki boards, but when I use my consult cable and data scan/calumsult/whatever, I have to "re-synch" the program to the ecu whenever the ecu looses power (like when you turn the key to start the car) So after you get her running, try closing the program and restarti...

I've had that happen. No Idea what it gets caught on. Finally came out after pushing it in and out wiggling the bastard around. You'll know when you get it once the tranny falls on your collar bone :?
