Well, the S13 has finally given up the ghost. The chassis started to rip apart, beyond what I would be able to fix. I decided it was time to move onto the S14, and let her take over track duties. She'll definitely be a more potent machine in every way. I'm starting the build thread over on NissanRoa...

And this is what I mean by too much front brake bias. My last run of the day, where I was able to get FTD, but unfortunately took out about 6 cones. I went too hot into the finish at the top of second gear. Here is the result. About 200ft off locked front tires. You can see where I pumped the brakes...

Next up on the chopping block: Z32 Rear Brake Upgrade Adjustable Rear Toe Arms With the Wilwods up front and stock rears, I feel as if I'm having wayyy too much front brake bias. Hopefully, by upgrading to Z32 rears and a good set of pads I'll be able to level it out. I'll be needing adjustable toe...

I usually jack both front sides then the rear by the diff. I'm finally done with school and was able to get a job right before graduation. So now with my weekends free I can finally get back into road racing and auto-x. New tire setup consists of: 235/40 Nitto NT05 Front 255/40 Hankook RS-3 Rear Sti...

7/16/11 Another SCCA Drift event under my belt. The car performed well, but keeping the intercooler from heatsoaking was a challenge. The course didn't give much in terms of air flow being mostly second gear stuff. So a drive down the street was needed once or twice throughout the day. Rerouting the...

My experience has come from drift events, auto-x's, and open lapping days. The most brutal being lapping days. I had the e-fans setup on a two stage fan controller. With both fans on high They would barely be able to keeps temps at 90C with the heater on full blast during a 15 minute lapping session...

My daily driver needed a little TLC, and eventually I can see this taking the place of the track car so I don't mind spending a little money on it. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs941.snc4/73420_462477194704_627789704_5434945_5626476_n.jpg old and busted coming out http://sphotos.ak.fb...

We had another drift event on halloween day. They track we usually go to has come into new ownership and they are willing to work with drifters to make this a regular thing. We had about 12 drivers and would do a 2 loss elimination tournament. Tandem wasn't allowed, well because most drivers do not ...

I haven't updated in a while, so here it goes. The mid-mount i/c is done and working great. Seems like I picked up some power and responsiveness. I'll get some pics up soon. Import Face-Off just happened again and of course a few of us were out there drifing. http://www.stuscully.com/Events/2010-Imp...

I figure it can't be any worse then having an a/c condensor. The clutch fan pulls plenty of air and I will also have the stock e-fan hooked up to a fan controller. Also if you think about it, it was completely block before with the i/c in the lower opening and the oil cooler in the cut-out in the bu...

Small update: I've always had problems with blowing off intercooler pipes, especially on hi boost. Decided to switch things up a bit. New intercooler, mid mount and is sealed to the radiator so the fans will pull air through. Remounted the oil-cooler today and all that is needed is to put the fan sh...
