I know this is an old thread, but this might help someone. I have the dlc coated buckets in my motor. They are not drop in. You need to machine them to work with the KA valves. Even the shortest ones are too tall, and they are very difficult to machine.

If you buy that manifold, you are the one with moral and ethical issues.

By the way I answered the OP right away. Guess he didn't like my price. No problem it stays rented out 90% of the time. Mine is made from 3" 6061 aluminum. $200 in material at the time. I used to rent it out with just a small deposit, but someone kept one.

If you fill the block that high I would run the cooling system like I did. You need an electric inline pump (mine is mounted directly to the radiator) and circulate the coolant from the from of back of the head thru the freeze port out thru the intake manifold. Turbo cars really push thru a loose convertor. The track will show more power than the dyno due to less load. I'm really interested in the pr...

You can buy the supertechs for about $416, or go with the custom setup I run. My setup is lighter and the buckets are DLC coated. Supertechs are cheaper and have the advantage of being able to change shims if you rebuild the head.
