I didn't know I was witholding torque specs 8) It is easier to see the differences in the charts when only one of the y axis is listed, which is why I did it. Also there seems to be alot of balking about the torque numbers that everyone wants to put out. I have driven all three setups. I can tell y...

Chris, how come you guys never release your torque specs???? I understand that torque may have dropped with the addition of the cams and intake, but I would like to see by how much. The ka is traditionally a pretty square motor and I would like to see how close you are to retaining this attribute. P...

Here is another theory, tell me what you think. The factory clutch line leaves the master cylinder in a straight up fashion ( maybe 2 in" ) and goes straight to the fire wall, where it then goes across the engine bay and then straight down to the tranny and the little box thing. Thus, minimizin...

Couple of thoughts- Master - Clutch pedal was installed wrong or at a bit of an angle, This would cause the seals to wear out. Slave - Did you use the flexplate that goes between the engine and trans when you did the swap. This would cause the trans to be a 1/4" to close to the engine. This do...

I would personally find some better quality parts. I have had issues with "advanced autozone" parts in the past. O.E.? or Napa IMO This could be true. The master and slave were two parts that I viewed as very generic and didn't really think there was much of a difference between OEM and A...

No prob bob, He asked about the difference between zenki and kouki, which is a very general question, to you and I. However, you made an astute and sound inference in noting that he was looking at a 96 zenki.

The event was pretty cool and I was glad that it didn't rain. We had some crazy wall crashes, to bad that marcos hit the wall as hard as he did though. I didn't really care for the course they had laid out. I thought the last event had a much better layout.

vlsd are options, so youll have to crawl under the car and look at the diff and see if it has the orange vlsd sticker... and the only difference in the kouki and the zenki are the front ends (headlights, hood, fenders, bumber, grill) and the tail lights but other then that they are both obd2 so its...

that sounds like a dragging clutch. when you push in the clutch to stop, your clutch still spins from inertia somewhat, and is not completely disengaging so you hear is "wind down" it sounds like, maybe like clutch chatter? im just guesssing. Any way to fix this without pulling the tranny...

Thanks for the reply tanman. The whole saw idea isn't half bad, I might try that. However I'm not very keen on the idea of using a saw-zaw to cut through the collar.
