Not sure what they are grounding, the manual only shows them as engine grounds. Not very helpful.

KA24E, 2 black wires grounded to power steering bracket

There is two ground wires that bolt down to the back of the power steering bracket. Anyone know what they are for?

Is it from inside the cab? Inside the engine bay? Under the car? On the roof? In your mind?

You can't narrow that down at all?

Heater stuff.

I will say this, do not drive in the rain or humid weather if you remove all that. You cannot defrost/defog your windows.

Tire wear. Check jack points under car, make sure they didnt use underside unibody. Check for crap under seat...

TiAL is #1 across the board, JGS here has had good reviews, Synaptic is ok but kinda pricy.

Do you have any leaks? I just replaced the two rubber hoses coming from the fuel tank because mine had rotted out.

Check your plugs? Check your plug wires?

Clogged cat?

Ground connected?

MAF plugged in all the way?

Fuel pump, just drop in a Walbro 255lph hi-pressure one.

Boost/oil pressure/wideband AFR gauges.

Not sure how much HP your MAF will support.

Possibly a clutch.

yeah there are cork gaskets, which I have used before. 240whp was just more of a first goal, but If I make more HP at the wheels than 240 I won't complain. That super 60 seems like a nice option. So draw back of external wastegate? sounds like a tractor because of turbulent air flow or what? That s...

I did not do any special backlashing. But I did buy new bearings. Make sure you remember where the spacers go. Also, many people have recommended to buy new washers for preload. I used the ones it came with in a )()()( pattern. Seems to work ok right now. Also, very important, my diff was assembled ...

I'm a little late here, but there is no oil pan gasket. RTV all the way.

Turbo? T3/T3. It should just run out of steam at the stock rev limit. Something like this. http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/gat3su.html

There are C-clips in the factory diff that lock the axles in place. When installing the OBX diff, you need to remove those clips from the stock diff and install them into the OBX. They are a huge pain in the ass to remove. (Also a huge pain in the ass to install in the new diff). Not saying that it...

I removed that and everything connected to it. I removed the AC fan, condensor/evaporator, compressor, all lines, heater/coolant lines, heater core behind the dash, blower, plastic vents. Everything. If you want to remove the heater lines, it might be best to have the intake manifolds of the motor. ...

For what it's worth, I just replaced my OBX with an S15 diff because of the huge amount of play that the OBX developed over time. Mine was so bad that with the e-brake on, I could spin the driveshaft a half inch in either direction. And when turning the driveshaft like this, you could see the passe...

EPA wasn't at my house when I removed all the pieces from my car. ;) I have no AC, defrost, heater core, vents, nothing. Saves quite a bit of weight and clears up some room in the engine bay. Steering shakes, drips PS fluid, brakes shimmy, pulls left

1. Steering shakes at highway speeds 2. Drips PS fluid from high (i think) pressure hose. 3. Brakes shimmy at most speeds. 4. Car sporadically pulls left under front or rear loading. I am really thinking I need to replace the tie rod ends. Possibly the rods themselves? Would bad tie rod ends cause t...

S13 front brake upgrade

It's more than likely already known, but front brakes off an A31 Cefiro (had the RB20DET) will fit the S13. You need the steering knuckle/rotors as well and the dust cover will need to be bent out of the way. The pads are the same as a late 90's Altima. This begs the question, and again I haven't se...
