when i get some down time, ill try removing the IACV and cleaning it out. Hopefully that fixes it. Not sure why the idle gets so rich (according to wideband anyways)

i just purchased the Tanabe medalion concept G for my s13 and i love it. Single N1 style can but it comes out parallel to the ground not at a funky angle, so it has more ground clearance than other single can exhausts. Full stainless, 3inch piping all the way, no pre muffler and it comes with a sile...

happens when the car is warmed up, when its cold, the idle is high and it won't stall. Yes i do have a wideband hooked up. When the car is warmed up and idling, the a/f will start out at 14 and after 50sec or so settles around 12 which is weird...

Engine stalls when revved or going into neutral at stop

as the title says, over the past month or so, the engine will stall if i rev it in neutral or when i'm coming to a stop and throw it into neutral. Revs just drop down to zero and it stalls out. I haven't touched the engine in a few months, no mods, no nothing, so i'm pretty sure it's nothing i did t...

for some reason the link won't take you to the wire, but what i was planning on using was the "SXL Cross-linked Automotive wire" if you go to www.wiring-products.com and go to cable/wire, its under there. Let me know if thats what i should use. Thanks.

making a home-made Ground Kit

what is the best gauge wire to use? I was gonna use either 10 or 8 gauge. I want to replace the wimpy stock pieces.

Oh, and if anyone has any tips, please share.

Thanks.

Headlight output testing....need a little help

As most of you who saw my previous thread, i have finally upgraded my sealed beam headlights to H4's on my hatch. Now i know most would just replace them, awe in the brightness and call it a day, for whatever reason i can't. I guess it is because i'm an engineer (geek) but i decided to do a little t...

Upgrade headlight wiring

I finally bought the H4 conversion for my pop-up's and along with that bought some Osram bulbs that are 70/65 W. Now i've heard many good things about these bulbs, but before i put them in, i'm curious if the added wattage will fry my stock wiring harness. Is there a way to upgrade my wiring to bett...

Converting side marker lights to LED....What's involved?

Title is pretty self explanatory, but i wanted to know how hard/complicated it would be to convert my side marker lights on my s13 to LED's kinda how ClearCorners.com does it. Anyone tried this before? Thanks.

What rotors? Q45 brakes w/ 4lug

i have some Q45 calipers for the front of my s13, but i'm not sure what to do for rotors. I've heard that the Sentra spec-V rotors will work but are a few mm too thin and i've heard it could cause problems. Or i could go with the Q45 rotors and have them drilled.....but i'm not sure if it is worth i...

setup is a basic t25, most of the parts are in my sig below. I find the best time to wash/wax the car is after dinner when the sun starts going behind the trees and there is some shade. then i can work out in the driveway instead of in the garage.

Tried out some new detailing products...

Hey guys, i decided to spend some money this summer on detailing equipment. I got tired of waxing by hand and not getting the results i wanted. So i did some research on Autopia.org and ended up purchasing a Porter-Cable, some Sonus SFX polishes and Klasse paint sealant.......heres the results: http...

ok, i need to revive this thread. This rad fan project has been on the back burner for the past week. I've been thinking, could i just splice the power wire going from the fan to the stock relay and insert a blade fuse holder? then use an inline 50amp blade fuse? I'd still retain the stock 30amp fus...

Refinishing rear Sub-frame.... need suggestions.

I purchased a rust free subframe (Thanks Structure240sx!!) to replace my current rotted one on the car. Now i'm not sure how to go about refinishing it before i swap it out for my rotted one. My first question is how should i strip it? I dont have access to a sand blaster, so i was thinking an angle...

oh i see what your saying. No i don't have another relay, i'm using the stock cond fan relay that is already in the fuse box. The stock fusible link for the condenser fan is 30A but i cant find one that type that is higher than 30A.....

does that make sense??

i was just planning on running the low speed. i'm not sure how i'd hook up both speeds on the s13, but it seems that most people never have the high turn on, the low keeps everything cool enough i guess.
