I need to give him a call shortly about t...

What I ended up doing is run a 10gauge fused wire straight from the positive battery terminal. Hook it up to a relay and power ALL the parts you add to that wire thats switched ON from the relay. And I then used the cig 12v to power the relay on or off by the IGN switch. That way you have a safe pow...

sorry to bring this thread up again, but would anyone have the part number or a place that sells the 11mm L19's with timeserts ?

Also any updates on trying to fit 12mm studs? This would be the ultimate upgrade in safety and preventing the head from lifting !!!!

Any DIY mount that uses a bolt that goes right through the mount is worthless IMO.... you might as well just run a steel puck. The tension through the bolt will make for a very solid feeling mount and the rubber will have little effect. I was doing urethane mounts like this for a while and just was...

Polished compressor's kick ass!!!! good luck with it.

I polished mine and really changes the way the engine bay looks once it has a mirror shine to it especially if its a top mount with a polished intake or valve cover.

change the plugs. make sure the wires on the distrubotor are in order, and pull the injectors out and see if they are firing if you have good compression, ignition and fuel you should have something happening when cranking.

those washers are to guide the spring and prevent it from making contact with the actual head I beleive, (its been a while since I had mine ripped appart) they slide out, maybe use a picking tool and a magnet or long needle nose plyers to get them out.
