i help a outlaw 10.5 guy from time to time (he runs high 6's) its a lot of messing around to get it to work well.. the AMS 1000 boost controller is a must, these guys even play with the exhaust under the fender pointing up to keep the front end down. bigger tires makes for less work.. but if you are...

my bet isthey went SR for the rpm, with a huge turbo you need huge rpm or displacement to getup in the boost. im sure you could build a SR to hit 11,000rpm+but a KA would never do it unless you destroked it. they are also at the point where they need a sleeved and filled block.. so who cares what th...

i would like to do it with out nitrous but we will see... i will do a test holding my BOV open.

with the 35r i had trouble, we added a ton of timing on c16 but it did not seem to help. we even had low timing to try and start a fire in the mainfold to spool the turbo

have you thought about just shooting nitrous directly in to the turbo manifold for spool up? please explain x2 u would think the hot and cold would but a hurt'n on the turbo and or turbo.. some guys are holding the BOVs and letting the trubos free spool.. then they slam them shut and make boost fast.

Could someone enlighten me what "core shift" means? Does the block distort under load somehow? And why are earlier blocks less affected? its when the block is casted.. the water jackets are molded sand sitting in another mold. some times they are closer to the bores... this makes it thin ...

The thing to look at is TQ not HP.. if you have a small turbo that makes 350whp going hard it will spool alot faster making alot more TQ than a bigger turbo at 350whp...

TQ= cly pressure
cly pressure= piston and rod beat down
