Stolen 240 7 month Update

Update: Well nothing ever came out of this. I didn't see anything I had on the car pop up on any forums. Everything just vanished. I would recommend that everyone with any money invested in their car document EVERYTHING. State Farm was very understanding of the situation. I had just full coverage on...

Sad Day,,,,,,, Thanks KA-T

I bought my 240 11 years ago. She was a perfect red 97 kouki. I quickly found this site after searching around and began reading. First I did a t25 set up and mail order tune. The car ran great for 6 years on that. The motor let go around 170k so it was build time. Motor specs were LS2 coils, AEM v2...

Re: ECU advice

I ran Nistune for a couple of years. I made decent power (378whp) and it was ok. I never had it be consistent. It always seemed to give me small hiccups. I decided to go AEM and have never looked back.

Re: Straight Piped KA-T guys question

My GT SPEC has a built in resonator. It sounds fantastic. The ole KA breathes through a 60-1/3in DP/3in GT spec to 3.75 post resontor.

I had a manual boost controller on the car. It wouldn't hold 20 psi. It hit 20 then fell to 15 climbed again. I just installed a Turbosmart Eboost Street and I really like it.

I maxed my 880's out on 15 psi with my 60-1 turbo. You will be no where near 400 whp with 800cc. I switched to 1200cc and still on a single walbro. I don't have any adverse cold starts and I've been on e85 for over a year. I dyno'd a couple of weeks ago and did 370 wheel on 17 psi. No maxing of anyt...

WOW a bump from the past..... I ran an the efi specialist ecu for 3+ years on a t25 ka. I had no issues and I put over 60k miles on the original motor and setup. Kim was a stand up guy. He would paypal me $50 when some one mentioned that I used his ECU and bought one from him. I had multiple friends...

Headgasket woes and questions..

I have replaced the felpro that I originally built the motor because it failed on cylinder number 4. I realize that felpro probably wasn't the best choice with my power goals. I have since replaced the gasket with a cometic and had the head checked for flatness and surface condition while I had it o...

I have had this car for over 8 years. The first set up was a t25 installed when it had only 100k miles. It lasted for over 3 years at 12 psi and 75k miles. It was down for a year and now has a rod/piston KA. Here are some pictures for you guys and thanks to everyone who post because their informatio...

What are you 96, 97, 98 guys running for managment?

I was wondering what is the most common management for the OBD2 crowd? I have been running an EFI Specialist OBD1 3C ecu and it ran fine, but now I have upped my game and was going to go nistune. Would I need a (or is there) a conversion harness or repin of the factory plug to go from OBD2 to OBD1 i...
