Try changing your mx sync test by 1 integer and see what happens. Thats what mine would do when I had it off

I had issues with starting and syncing with mine. I would change my MX SYNC TEST from 8 to 9 and it would and wouldnt work sometimes. Sometimes it would start good cold on 9 and then not restart. It starts everytime now and here are my settings MX SYNC TEST - 8 SYNC TEST - 1 SYNC IGNORE - 600 SYNC E...

I have the FE clutch. Supposed to handle 400 ftlbs. Full faced, nice engagement. LIttle chatter, but only have like 500 miles on it. Very, very soft pedal. Lighter than stock. They said it will gradually get harder over time

over all, hose routing was a bi*ch. The power steering wasnt too bad. Just needed about 6-7ft of line to do it. I ran it down and underneath the fan cowl, up the side near the ac lines, and over to it. There was NO room on the other side for it. I had to move the coolant reservoir over there too cau...

My A/W s14

Here are some pics of my 240. Bought it last October cause I wanted something RWD. I have had turbo Hondas for years. It was either between an s14 or a notchback mustang, there are just so many mustangs around here and I wanted something a little different. I wanted to build something that would ble...

Had it running for 3 days and was doing some stupid ****. Knock sensor wasnt reading, egt wasnt reading, no b...

you might get away with an FMU, you might not.

You wont know if you are able to get away with an FMU without a wideband.

If it was my sweet turbo volvo, I wouldnt chance it.

you can more or less setup the aem traction control to however you want. its a d(vehicle speed)/dt thing. it just pulls timing, depending on the slip. I havent had the chance to play with it on my car just yet, hopefully soon. traction control is MUCH better on electronic throttle bodied cars. it wi...

you need cfm to spool the turbo. With a remote mount turbo, your actual CFM is a lot lower because the exahust gases have cooled down by traveling all the way through your exhaust lowering the volume of the exhaust flow because the density of the gas decrease with decrease in temp (ie. Ideal gas law...

do you need the metal gasket that goes in between the turbo and manifold? If so I have one I can mail you. But either way, I never use gaskets there or at the wastegate flanges and have never had a problem (in 6 years of this crap) they may leak a little when you start up but once you get some heat ...

the only situation Helmholtz resonance doesn't affect an engine is in an open stack ITB setup with no plenum. actually it does. The helmholtz effect uses quarter wave propagation. You still have quarter wave propagation in an ITB, except there is no resonance due to the plenum. You effectively have...

This does not apply to turbo motors. You are incorrect. This applies to all engines. Just the length of your intake tract and resonating volume changes because of the additional length of charge pipes up to the intercooler. The helmholtz equation can be used to tune for torque peak, but with forced...

Make sure you have the sensor upright somewhat, above a 45deg angle if possible. This is so water does not condense on the sensor and ruin it. Also, within 3-9 inches from the collection or turbine with your wideband would be optimal. Unburnt exhaust gases burn more the further they get down the pip...
