intermittent ckps signal... showed spark and fuel was good. swapped the distributor and it fires right up!

any updates? for mine it seems that there's something wrong with the fuel, even though it's getting fuel.... if i crank it, i get nothing. but if i pull the fuel pump fuse, as it cranks it starts to sputter, then runs out of fuel. then i put the fuse back in and it runs for a second then dies. that'...

i messed with my iacv a little bit because the plug is broken and that got it to sputter a little but still no start atm

The 30r i believe refers to the part number, the 06 has something to do with the exact tolerance of the wrist pin, if i'm not mistaken. it doesn't matter if you're using the original parts anyway. about the headgasket - the best thing is patience and a good scraper. i don't think a razor is good, es...

man i haven't posted here in YEARS... but good to see another sohc going up! if you're going to be stripping everything down you might as well send it to a machine shop to have all the tolerances checked. while you're at it you could get some new main and rod bearings and pick up some new rings too....

i think aero and paint (at least a chuki bumper) would increase the overall appearance of my front end. i got the lights from kyle bennett many years ago... his car looked incredible with them.. i'll have to dig up pictures of it. i still gotta get night shots of them... but the light is much better...

i got them from our body shop for free off a hyundai sonata. the housings are the AB Flug grim light kit, i had those for a while but i never really did anything with them until now

i didn't have a problem with mine... and i CONSTANTLY took it off and put it back.. it's a pretty solid piece of metal. if you bolt it in well there shouldnt be a problem

actually CHIPPING your ecu isn't hard if you have experience with de-soldering and soldering, and the right tools. make sure you get a spare ecu and leave the original ecu stock in case you f*** the spare up. moates.net has chips, sockets, etc. the tuning is the really hard part and it's probably a ...
