Good update! I'm just as bad if not worse. This is good though, hopefully it will get me to update my build thread.
Looking forward to more posts!

Re: My KA Machining/Build Thread *Opinions welcomed*
I just noticed that your drain bung that you welded into the pan was parallel with the lip of the pan. The engine sitting at an angle in the bay means that now the oil has to drain down and slightly back up to get out of your drain line. That could cause some issues for you in the future. If you've...

Nistune Type 4: Auto vs 5spd ECU
Hey guys, I will be searching out a 96 OBDII ecu for my 97. Just wondering if there will be a difference between the auto and 5 speed ecu that I should know about besides the loss of speed cut from the auto. This will be so that I can order up a NISTune type 4 board. Sure sucks that the Canadian dol...

Wow, great build man! I love the exhaust cut-out with the throttle body!! Genius!

Wonderful work man. It shows that patience pays off eventually. Question, what are the specs of your rims? They are 5Zigen GN+ 17x8.5+22 w/235 17x9.5+35 w/255 I think the tires are 35 series, but am not positive. Thanks for the kind words guys, I knew there wouldn't be time to re-do things, so I f...

Looks like you are ready to have some fun again with it in 2016 after the hibernation. It's been tough finding time for my projects. Anything that takes more than an hour or two needs to slowly be chipped away at. In regards to finding time, I had to actually schedule it, or it would never happen. ...

Re: My KA Machining/Build Thread *Opinions welcomed*
Ya I guess it's more like a 'year in review'. There is way more that I wanted to write, along with more frequent updates, but honestly, whenever I had time to sit at the computer and write about the car, I figured I would rather go and work on the car. I felt obligated to keep this thread going for ...

That looks like it works very well! Thanks for the pics, I might go that route. Is there a bead on the pipe or is it holding well without?

Slightly longer Upper Rad Hose Options?
Hey guys, I'm almost ready to drop my rebuilt motor back in (build thread will be updated shortly). One thing that bothered me before was the upper rad hose being up against my cold pipe, right near where it attaches to the throttle body. I am interested in using OEM Nissan rad hoses, and was wonder...

Re: Any reviews on Five 0 Motorsports?
I started browsing this site when I was around 20....I'm 27 now. Take my advice kid...coming from someone who tuned both nistune and megasquirt, you want a platform that's easy to tune and user-friendly. Nistune imho is way more difficult to use than megasquirt and tunerstudio. If that isn't enough....

Re: Any reviews on Five 0 Motorsports?
They're fine injectors, just don't use e85 on them, they like to get stuck after the 4th tank you put them through. Thanks for the heads up on E85, but I haven't seen that stuff up around my Canadian parts yet. So what did you do, have them cleaned and popped back in, or tossed them for something e...

If you know someone with a boost leak tester, get that and find your leaks. If you can't find one, make one, you're handy and its easy, just google it!

The second O2 sensor behind the cat will not change a single thing if its screwed in or not. I have mine plugged in but dangling/taped to something so I don't throw CELs.

I don't have a tig welder. My former sponsor Weirtech welded the bung into the coldpipe for me, if that's what you are refering to.

Any reviews on Five 0 Motorsports?
Hey guys, I've been doing some injector research, and found these guys http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/
They apparently have reliable side feeds in the 800-1000cc range for a decent price rather than changing over to top feeds.
Any input? Thanks!

Great build man!! Similar internals as my Kouki. Other than the beautiful beige leather, thats about where the similarities end :) Keep up the great work! Almost forgot, do you guys have to do smog tests on the east coast? I think I read something in your thread about the resistor for the EGR. I'll ...

Partly due to a busy schedule, but probably primarily due to the lack of excitement in the progress that has taken place. Cleaning vacuum lines isn't exactly the most exciting stuff on the in...
