Jst got an update.. Bought another maf.. Now car is running great..got some other stuff replace too..but I am certain the maf was causing all the issues to act the way it was

Oh thanks. I've had my car forever it ran decent but ran rich and would backfire at times..blow the head gasket and jst ended up replacing full engine but been having issues since then..it was sitting in the back yard for so many years till it got the motor..got the same kind of motor a ka24de..not ...

Oh thanks for the information...but I have one more question ..how can I distinguish between which maf it is? Because when I got the vehicle it came with a ka24de but before that it had an sr motor and it originally came stick with a single..don't know which one I have ..but also would having the wr...

Jst need a quick answer ...I have a 240 that originally came with a ka24 single cam but put a dual instead still has the original maf sensor..will the car have issues like run rich..etc

I would save yourself some monies and (A) pull everything that is surrounding the harness to get a good look at all of the wiring and (B) if you can't find anything, buy a new, known working harness before you have to buy yourself a new car before this one burns down. IMPORTANCE...keep a fire extin...

yeah i know the gas or brakes dont got nothing to do with the guage cluster...im just telling you what ive been told...i havent driven it myself.....the person that has worked on it...told me everytime he is driving it around...at anytime he steps on the gas, it goes haywire....same issue when he st...

Ok, im having guage cluster issues....the speedometer and the rev needle go haywire and the all the lights light up when i push on the gas or brakes...the car has been sitting for almost five years with out running...recently did an engine swap... got all wires hooked up....fyi i didnt do the engine...

ok...so if it is just a obd1.then....than i would just have to switch out da dizzy right?

i would i know if its a OBD1 tho? all i know is dat the engine came out of a 95 240sx

i just have a quick question..cuz im planning to buy a s14(ka24de) engine and put on my s13...ive been hearing alot of differnet things that u have to do....some say u have to switch out da intake modifold, exhaust modifold and da dizzy for it to work on da s13...and others are saying...just switch ...

i just have quick question.....my friend and i are taking the head off my ka24de.....my question is: to remove the lower front cover. Do i need to remove the oil pan? the motor is still in the car and i tripled checked that all the bolts were off...

you guys are lucky.....i live in this f*ckin small state where two40s are soo rare that its a mircale that you see one. im glad i was able to get one but to find parts for its kind of hard you have to use out of states resource.....

the earlies i can remember is $1.07! i remember when my father would drive around and try to find a lower price. I would tell him that it didnt matter! its only two cents difference. know i lookkk back and wish gas was that cheap again.

i was wonder cause my friend is planning to swap a ka motor into his datsun and he needs a ecu. he has the motor. basically my question is whats the differnces between the ecu for a sohc and a dohc obd 1 and obd2. i know they have codes printed on the ecu. what are they?

they were both weak cars! the gti and the corolla. but that was funy too
