I'm on another project now, and SR20DET 240sx with T70 (ebay)boost hit had from 3500rpm all the way to 8000rpm. Megasquirt engine management. On the KA its a lil early but the torque is amazing. Also on the Supra boost comes in as early as 2500rpm and madness till redline, which I've never been too ...

as u cansee thats a budget project,secondly it works beyond fine,that turbo is doing wonders on a smaller displacement sr20det. Not to knock your opinion, to me really spending 800-1500 on a turbo isn't worth it

So again. just the q45 diff j30 axles and swap the cover and pinion flange. no need to open the case and change gears Ok thank God I re-opened this post. Now I'm a bit confused. I have before me Q45 diff, with input shafts. I also have J30 Input shafts but the j30 has same 6 bolt partern as a 240sx...

sorry for the post jacking but without vaccum does this scv (if that's the proper name for it) /butterfly, stay open or is it shut? I removed the vaccuums on it car idles so i am guessing it is open. Someone please confirm

At the end of the day brazing would be a better option than jb weld and is strong enough to withstand pressure.

I used an sr20det fmic kit off ebay. It was made for the bottom mount setup but I just modified the hot pipe.

that;s rather unfortunate, eccs relay in an s13 is in the fuse box near the battery, the green relay nearest to the strut tower.

Yes, I made the flange flat, and then reinforced the manifold to support the added weight. wasn't too difficult.

The ssac manifold willl need some modification for the turbo to clear the brke master cylinder. As you can see it sits str8 up, there's about 3/4"-1" away from the brake master cylinder. Once that's done you can mount everything up as usual. I'm awaiting my new rad and exhaust
