i guess with a little bit of effort you could use the intake from the sr20, which resembles the kade and the box that it has. only thing im concerned is the manifold since that's the thing that sticks out the most.

tips for the "stock" look

when i say stock, i mean california kind of stock lookin' i was thinking of a bottom mount setup with a t28, maybe modify the sr manifold shield, sr sidemount, trying to figure out what people could do with the intake setup and other stuff that may help. what's the most i can retain out of the ka24d...

the a/t harness will not have plugs for your manual tranny

and depending on the year of your car, the plugs might be different.

really? but according to this there is a ground (black) and some sort of signal wire EXCEPT for the reverse light sensor.

is there another alternative then wiring up to the clutch pedal? isn't that why you hook up the neutral switch directly to the ecm? i'm having problems with this myself. my friend said he put in a manual starter alternator trans harness and then jumped the top switch and he said he didnt have a cel....

hey i got a question on how to measure the voltage on the neutral position switch and fifth gear sensor can i just have the car simply in the ON position to measure their voltage and differentiate from the ground and signal? cause i don't have the connectors, i just have the wires coming from these ...

5 speed swap difficulties

come on guys! i need your experience as the title says, after i did my 5 speed swap i keep getting the check engine light code 111 which is about my inhibitor switch i did this guide http://www.ka24development.com/cwilfert/S14_tranny_swap_electrical.html for my 5th gear sensor and my neutral switch....

ka24de s13/s14 lower harness plugs will fit onto the transmission just fine, but anything else needs to be hard wired.

did you guys have a s14?

what i'm gonna do is buy a new neutral position switch and reverse lights since my neutral position switch looks corroded and i've never wired my reverse lights.

if the code still comes up after that i'm at a loss. anymore suggestions anyone?

I got the same check engine light again code 111 or inhibitor switch

can anyone even suggest what could be the problem? i posted this on zilvia and it's not that much help either.

Is the inhibitor switch related to the neutral position switch? if so can my neutral switch be faulty?

yeah removing the speed sensor makes my car stall, weird huh? also yeah i gotta do more driving, i don't know what the drive cycle is.. so i'm just randomly driving. i just figured out that it's bad to reset the ecu for obd2 right before a smog check because the continuous monitors will not have any...

daily = low boost and do the tuning right the first time around, otherwise you'll be like the many people that will hate a boosted ka24de. the most expensive part in your "budget" build will probably be the tuning but it'll be worth it. after that is just your normal 1-3 month maintenance ...
