I'm in Lufkin, but all the turbo parts are sitting in a box. Hardbody too, not 240. I come through Houston quite often though.

EBL? The truck block is made in Mexico, but is rumored to actually be stronger than the 240 block. The heads are the same. The intake manifolds are different. The 240 has a slightly more aggressive camshaft, but it's not going to make a huge difference that will throw you back in your seat. There is...

Hi- just another Hardbody guy here stockpiling turbo parts. That setup looks fine to me. I don't remember too well, but I think I remember seeing someone post up about running the MS with the stock ignition without any problems. Yeah, I know that doesn't help- but the install is supposed to be fairl...

Ok- so about the same size as a 14b or a little smaller? 14b Is that the 1G DSM turbo? If so, it is much larger. I believe it is similar to a rb20 or rb25 turbo. A little smaller tham the z31 turbo. Yup, the 1G DSM turbo. So you're saying the Z31 is much larger than the 14b? I just want to make sure.

I had no problems with my Corbeaus in my Civic. Just make sure that your seat doesn't come up over your waist- quite a few of the fixed back seats do that. You'll see what I mean if you look at any pictures. The reclining seats all have enough room for the waist belt to draw tightly around YOU and n...

The Frontier with the DE would probably be the better choice, but the HB is excellent too. You just get the two cams with the DE and more availability of turbo manifolds too.

107k is pretty good! Mine has 168k on it now, and it still tests out perfect 172-174psi across the board on a compression test.

Those eBay seats are fakers- they're just generic seats with a "Nismo" logo stitched in. You'll find the same thing with "TRD" "Mugen" and fake "Spoon" seats too. It's not worth it. FYI- no reclining seats meet FIA certification. You must have a one piece seat...

I don't see why turbocharging would affect your 4wd capabilities- you're not doing anything to the transmission. Quite a few of the offroaders and rockcrawlers on 4x4parts.com (Nissan focus store and site) run turbos on their Hardbodies.

There are at least 3 on the site that are successfully turbocharged (I think Jordan's is running)... and I'm slowly working on mine as cheapo deals come up. Definitely turbo the SOHC- it's very capable. You don't want to swap to DOHC unless you get a Frontier block- the sumps are in different locati...

You can optimize a porting job and cam selection to suit whatever setup you want, all motor or forced induction. If you have the cash to get your head ported, go for it- just make sure the port guy knows what he's doing, and that he knows what you need the head set up for.

Yup, that's on the upgrade list for me too- a Nissan rear end. Think about it though- if the engineers were doing everything they could to reduce weight, and the stock rear end holds up to 300whp with no problems, there's no reason to overengineer it to handle 1000whp is there? That's just more weig...

Contact Tein through their web site and ask them how much. I think the rebuild cost is $100 per damper, so it's not exactly cheap. Information on old models should still be in their product matrix.
