If you can get a hold of a decent oscilloscope and variable power supply you can just test it.
Here is a link for basic dwell calibration.

The Z32 5-speed will hold that kind of power easily as long as you choose an adequate clutch. They're hella stout, with probably thousands of drag launches on them without issue. The Z33/G35 6-speeds are finally becoming a real option soon. A group of guys out of Flagstaff are developing an adapter...

the setup is pretty simple.

Stock S13 KA CAS, Motec M800, Honda S2000 coils.

wiggins clamps have a bit of flex if i recall... and thet might be need on a rubber mounted motor They are capable of 3 degree total misalignment. I wouldn't recommend using it on a rubber mounted engine because the engine can torque quite a bit, exceeding the allowable misalignment of the joint. I...

NPD is that an SR CAS? Noticed you were running a COPS setup and was curious how you were getting cam/crank signal to the ECU. And love the wiggins clamps, almost never actually see them used for some reason No the CAS is a s13 KA. Just removed the cap and rotor and machined a billet cover to go on...

I spend more on machining than most people because of my past experiences with many machine shops. Not many machine shops can hold a tolerance 5 microns (0.005mm or 0.00019685 inches)

But I'd definitely balance the crank. If budget permits I would balance your other components too.

yeah that's right. you've got two components that I don't have, which I think would definitely be a factor. the auto trans and nitrous. I've actually done quite a few passes on the dyno loaded through the gears but I don't have nitrous or an auto so I'm thinking you are going to have more load on yo...

Taking it to the track puts a lot of load on the motor. I hope stock blocks can handle it. But like I posted above we don't have the best odds. I was curious what kind of dyno you did your initial tuning on? I have alot, I mean ALOT of passes on the DynaPak loaded up alot. IMHO I think the amount o...

If you have a good cooling system, you can fill to within 1 inch of the deck. but i would have to keep the bottom open for flow right? so would it have to be like this one on honda tech? a space for water on the bottom and a space on the top? look at the hp data base..... not a ton of guys in the 7...

NPD, what modern "smart" ignition coils (S2000, 350z, etc) would be long enough for the spark plug holes and would offer the best fitment and hood clearance? I can't remember exactly, but you tapped your valve cover or welded on a plate to secure your coils in place right? I did weld a ad...

I am not familiar with the "twin fire" box but the 350z(vq35) and newer nissan coils are mostly all integrated transistors which explains why majority of "CDI" or "Igntion Amplifier" boxes will burn out the coils when used in conjuntion with integrated transistor coils....

are the S2000 coils run right off the ECU or are you running a DIS4 or twinfire type box?
the s2000 coils are integrated transistors(internal ignitor coils) so you can drive them directly from the ecu.

looks like DIY sells them, just dont know if i want to run plug wires. 350z make 1200whp with stock coils... just dont know if they fit. and using a CDI on the 350z can hurt them, my buddy with a turbo 350z says you see it all the time on the forums. The VQ35(350z) coils are a little short. If you ...

I've got the Xcessive one on my car with a Greddy SR sump kit. It holds about 5.5~6qts.

It's just hard for me to say exactly how much is exactly in the sump because with the Xcessive pan, Greddy sump, oil cooler and accusump my setup takes a total of 9 qts.
