It looks like its a clogged radiator. I'm ordering a new rad on Monday and hopefully I'll get it installed that same week.
Thanks for all the replies. I'll update as soon as I get the new rad tested.

It's a Koyo rad but it was on the car previously so it could be clogged. The HG is a stock replacement, and the car is not smoking at all so I'm pretty positive the HG is not leaking. I'll try and flush the rad and see if a bunch of junk comes out as it could be clogged. I'll pull the plugs as well ...

Well, I removed the thermostat and bled the cooling system again. Now I can drive it around, but it will start to overheat if I'm sitting for too long. I'm really puzzled and any suggestions, notorious or not, would be appreciated. Symbiotic cooling system? Are you referring to the oil system? I'm n...

I poured coolant into the head and block via the upper intake manifold coolant outlet as well as running the engine with the bleeder valve unbolted until coolant was flowing out. Is there something I'm missing in the bleeding process? As far as the engine, I built it myself. You think the build coul...

Fresh rebuild cooling issues
Just dropped a freshly rebuilt engine in the s14 and everything went pretty smoothly. It starts and runs ok, but for some reason the coolant system is not working correctly. The lower radiator hose is not getting warm while the top is getting hot. In fact, the whole radiator has this characteristic ...

Engine squeaking noise. (Not a belt)
The ol' KA started making a squeaking noise at idle and in the lower rpm's. It used to only make the noise when the engine was cold, but is now constant. It sounded like a belt so I ran the car without any of the belts, and it still made the noise. I found this thread while searching and it sounded ...

I have 17x10 with a 35mm offset and I'm running an 8mm spacer on the rear. So, the overall offset with spacer is 27mm. Also got extended studs to be safe. I'm running 235/45/17 and they rubbed a little until i rolled the fender. All this is on an s14. If I was you I would get the 35mm and just add s...

The Jim Wolf Technology flywheel has 20 bolts. Not sure if that's what you have but here's some help.

I purchased an F1 clutch and flywheel combo from Gripforce on ebay and I have been pleased. I bought the stage1 kit because I am pretty much stock. It felt nice and really added response with the light weight flywheel. My only complaint, after installed I have a horrible drive-train rattle on decele...

From the pics you posted I can tell that you have on OBD2 car. I had a 96 s14 and the charcoal canister is underneath the trunk on the passengers side. It's right behind the wheel if your looking up from the ground. Depending on the ECU, disconnecting the emissions can throw a CEL (check engine ligh...

Long Time Lurker
Hey what's up everybody. I'm Tony from Florida and I'm driving a 95 S14. It has been a work in progress since I bought it a few years ago. I would like to do a turbo setup one day and I'm always doing research here. I have not contributed much even though I have been a member for a while, because I ...
