Basically it's a front mount, but placed directly in front of the radiator and AC cores. Inside the radiator support for better ground clearance and I guess a more "clean" look. Main reason I want to do this is for better ground clearance and just maybe have even better throttle and turbo ...

mid-mount intercooler setup?

So, I plan on re-doing my intercooler setup soon, and I really dig the way midmount setups are. Does the shorter piping really improve throttle response and turbine spool? Is it a bigger difference than a regular FMIC setup? If you guys can tell me which core would be best for the mid-mount setup an...

Ran my car on the 1/4 mile, I got a 13.8 with a consistent trap speed of 103; crappy rear tires, and slipping Exedy Stage 1 clutch. http://a498.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/29/l_bdbaa5a94c0eb66eea81d299a9be83b1.jpg More picture from the last event in Houston http://a170.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...

Well, we did our first event for the '08 season; and it was a great success with 100 spectators and 20 drivers; pretty good numbers in drivers compared to 2007. http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n192/EF9_91/Picture109copy.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n192/EF9_91/Picture110copy.jpg http://...

I took care of the tuning part already but just the other day my car started blowing a **** of white smoke out; So the last two days i've been working on it to find the culprit and I THINK i narrowed it down to the turbo, it looks cracked by the wastegate flapper internally, i'm sure this can cause ...

I have, that's where I got the "base map" formula for my injector corrections; the car runs fine now with the Z32 MAF and some adjustments to the SAFC. Although, after switching the plugs to BKR6E gapped at around .028, i pulled them and it was white so it seems to be running a little bit ...

Top mount injector O-ring question

So guys with topmount injectors, did you guys keep the O-ring on the "engine" side/lower part of the O-ring?

SAFC II set-up

I got my car "running" but I'm gonna have to get it to Houston to get a proper ECU Q-Tune. But I'm running DSM 450CC injectors which had required me to install the resistor box; so installing my injectors once I got to Houston was out of the question. I bought an Apex'i SAFC II for cheap f...

Mounting the oil cooler right there won't affect air flow towards it? Why not mount it where the side ducts are? When changing oil filters, will oil spill all over the engine bay? **** looks great man.

^ It is, i'm just gonna fill it and reinforce the skeleton, then color match it with the car; main reason i went for the hood is because of the reduction of the weight, 240 hoods are stupid heavy.

Well, I had Kouki sides but I traded them for the Uras sides and back. And I recently scored an SE lip for FREE!! So stock is looking good right now, but doesn't everybody like to see fiberglass shatter into pieces when I attempt a dirt drop? I think so.

I'm basically done with the engine, just waiting to get the rest of my fuel stuff (FPR and pump), and instead of running those Precision injectors (one wasn't machined right or something) I'm debating on sticking with sidefeed style injectors which i could get a killer deal of deachworks 560CC injec...

I wish i could have taken the time to properly measure out the hole for my cold pipe...instead i took a sawzall to it and ended up cutting the majority of the battery tray section out...so now instead of a small circle, i stuck with a big square; air flow anybody?

I did a baseball type roll with a slight pull, camber is -3.6 (I can probally get away with less with smaller tires 245/45) And they are just FN's painted white :)

Ugh, i've got the cold start issue sorted out, it was related to the huge sub-pipe, but now when the car get's warmed up, it'll bog/stutter/run like crap throughout acceleration and it will also stalled when off throttle. Fuel system? maybe, Un-tuned? Maybe...i can't figure this out :(
