bit of a quick update folks. im up and running and driving slowly figuring out what this motor needs as far as tuning goes. seems like alpha-N for first table and % baro for second fueling table does the trick the best idles well at 900 rpm now, and i seem to make some vacuum too! i'll have pictures...

paint it a matte dark gun metal, most flat black paint jobs look like crap

the reason why the s15 looks so good has to do with the styling more than the paint..

no shennegans, i was running super conservaqtive timing, and that turbo came on quick.
keep in mind the k-car housing it had on has a smaller inlet hole increasing the inlet veolicity quite a bit. its smaller than a t25 for area.

bit of a small but signifigant update, got the wiring mostly mocked up, so i did a test fire today along with a lot of fixing small issues ( loose oil lines, missing grounds etc..) it started up 3rd try but I coudnt make it go past 500 rpm, i neeed to adjust the ase i think as no matter how much fue...

its setup for corn if we had it up in the great white north..

im going do do a leadded 105 octane avgas mixed half with 94 octane pump gas, and start off with half water half meth. and a bout 1/30th 2 stroke oil mixed in to keep the bike injectors alive hopefully for the meth injection.

no reason you cant do dc tig with that machine..

you'll be suprised if your good what you can weld with a stick, thin stainless is doable if you can whip and really watch your heat input.

i'll be tracking my missle car n/a, but sidways and hot on rotella 15 40, so far its been great oil to pull the dirt out of the motor, and it always drains black atfer 2000 miles. motor looks spotless inside, and its a high milage motor

^ walper, go either mitutoyo or starrett for your measuring tools, you dont neeed inside mics, but spring calipers and a external mic are a must, had my set for 5 years now and i;'ll get another 30 out of my mics.
