Re: catch can question
What schmauster said. You've very likely blown a ringland(s) somewhere. Do a compression test. ya don't worry about the catch can catching oil.all they are for is if u blow up ur sh#t.really don't need one.and im sure ur motor is on the way out.i blew one up under boost one time and puked oil out t...

But fwiw my cars seen everything between 7psi and 16psi on the same tune (not exactly high boost but its an old stock block ). You don't really need a safc (well I should say shoul...

ya even 12.0 to 12.4 is not good. ars above 12.0 burn hot and the top of the piston doesn't like that. +1 on the maf too. foolin with stuff after the tune requires u to put it back exactly the way it was. if u had a boost leak it would run like **** and u would know it. what kind of management do u ...

as long as its a ka forum and nothing else.
i like that its ka-t specific.and like said before i ran outa money to keep the ka-t up but,,,i would definatly turbo it again if finances allowed and use this site for anything i don't already know.
most likely will happen too as my son graduates next year.

an oil cooler will lower ur pressure.anytime u add more space to a pressurized system u will loose pressure.aaronlee97 wrote:My pressures are still reading too low. I'm planning on relocating the pressure sensor and also installing an oil cooler though. Hopefully that will increase my pressures enough.

there is no specific setting dude! a wide band would have to be put on ithe car on the dyno and u would acually have to do a pull first with the settings at zero and see where ur lean and rich, then add or subtract fuel in that rpm range.and this doesnt happen with just one pull.u have to do a few pu...
