Re: 9.81 @ 141

Thanks you for the input Greaser. I don't have anyone around here to compare to, just Honda guys on lower power and around 10psi lower boost. They were only seeing a couple degrees increase that day so I figured there had to be something wrong with mine. I might of actually been able to cut a 1.3. F...

Re: 9.81 @ 141

I'm not sure what is the cause yet. My intercooler is mounted high and probably blocked by the bumper to much. I don't think I'm out of the efficiency zone on the turbo but I don't know because bullseye power doesn't release turbo maps. I have to give them a call and see what they say.. I started th...

Went to the track this past weekend for the first time in many years with this car. Could of been a little better since the car is dialed in for the street. I only got 3 passes to tune it before they kicked me out, but im just happy to finally hit a 9! This was at 33psi probably somewhere around 680...

Re: 745hp/679tq @ 39psi

It peaks early due to the small housing. Builds boost quicker so hp comes on sooner. I run the bc 272s cams.

Thanks rosadoracing! My goal is to just see a 9.99 sec pass. If i can get further that would be awesome.

Re: 745hp/679tq @ 39psi

Sorry i was wrong. This graph was a 4th gear pull and apparently he changed the mph limit for this one. The reason for low power is most likely due to the t3 backside is getting restricted. It really needs to be t4...

Fuel setup is dual walboros, -10 feed -6 return. Precision 95lb/hr primaries and 165lb/hr secondaries and e85. Clutch is a 350z specialty z clutch. 5 puck with d21 flywheel. The dyno only went up to 30psi but aem was showing 39ish. The reason the numbers are low was because we had to do 3rd gear pul...

Finally took my car to get dyno tuned. Very happy with the numbers, especially for a mustang dyno. All of the pulls were done in 3rd since 4th gear overloaded the dyno... I'll be out of town on the 30th. I wanted to go to that meet but doesn't look like i will be able to.

If school allows me  i will probably be out this weekend at the local meets.

I've never been on a dyno, but if you do the calculator based on trap speed and weight of car it says 570 whp. So somewhere around there lol On a third gear pull i see 20psi by about 4700 rpm. That's probably due to my exhaust manifold not being exactly equal length. There's a guy i was talking to t...

times with new setup

Well my old setup was an sr with a t28 @ 18psi. Was only able to knock off a 12.9@ 112mph. With the ka back in the car I went 12.4 @127mph. Considering this was only at 14psi, I am impressed with the car. If I had some drag radials I think I could of dipped into the 11.

You can get the crank ground down to fit oversized bearings. No need to buy a new one, but you will also need to get the rods reshaped. When you spin a bearing its almost garanteed that the rod is out of round. So either you will need to get new rods or they will be savable by reshaping. Machine sho...
