25PSI, sounds like 500+ whp time. Drag radials / 140 TW or lower for that.

Great stuff this will be the turbo I'll be going with on my rebuild with z33 transmission. Something with quick spool for HPDE track days.

Re: 700hp goals

4k full boost and 700whp isn't happening. Though another option to consider is a full counter weight crank and all support mods for 8500 redline e so you have over 3.5k RPM of boost.

Great thread, I am pulling my engine for rebuild. Going 11mm head studs, I had A11 10mm head studs but they don't make those anymore.

For the z33 diff to work you'll need a 2004-2007 Pathfinder 2wd diff ring and pinion (3.133) and big power.

Not yet Duron, been sitting on this Z33 transmission swap and lower rear axle ratio... got lots of work to do there, I'm done with the stock KA 5 speed. I've changed the intake side of my setup (XS manifold, custom throttle body), gotta do some wiring work to get the TPS working. May go to bigger fu...

L19 11mm head stud question

You guys using the L19 11mm head studs, are these the same ones from the EVO 8 / 9?... with the exception of the undercut one by the oil hole which you would use the regular 11mm from AMS?

Max duration... what do you plan on running a pure drag car? For max lift there is a point where you will have to grind away part of the cylinder head for the cams to clear when rotating. And another point where if you can afford to replace the bearings in your engine after every dozen runs then you...

I've had problems with MAF place that close like in the picture. Also another thing to check is to make sure the two ground wires for the SAFC is installed correctly and the contacts aren't broken anywhere, I've had that happen also.

At worse you may have to loosen the two ear diff bolts to angle it down and back up if it is an exact fit like mine was.

the answer isn't going to be cheap either way. Cheapest if you do it right the 1st time is banjo type fitting for the brake line.

Duron's cam degree really aren't per anyone's spec besides knowing what turbo he runs and his expected boost levels he was going to be running at, I figured about mid 20's boost is a good starting point. I focus on when the exhaust cam closes and intake opens rather than centerline. It helps somewha...

There are small bugs that have to be worked out, such as when upgrading the fuel lines all that rubber hoses will heat soak and having 4 fuel pumps (dual intank, dual external parrallel + 80psi base) + hot Texas 100 degree heat = captivation and vapor lock = go get a fuel cooler ...
