He also asked me about the stroke and I told him standard is what I'm looking to get but longer strokes can be made. Not interested in changing stroke, im not a mechanical engineer and i love the way the Ka makes power as it is. No reason at all to mess with changing stroke. In addition, when doing...

Re: Thinking about getting a billet FCW for my KA..
Do you guys think that we can benefit from a crank shaft like this? http://www.par-engineering.com/images/crankshafts/crank4cyl.jpg ABSOLUTELY YES. If they make it stock stroke, that would be REALLY nice to have available for the Ka market. Wow, explain to the guy first that the Ka community is a b...

Its evolution you retards. Sorry im yelling at MD's and science. You, and people like you have a mild case of whats known as 'bi-polar' disorder, or manic depression. Its a veryyy misunderstood 'disorder'. ADD is the most common diagnosis for people like you where the 'classic symptoms' of 'bi-polar...

You'v got the beads down and the basic technique which is pretty amazing if thats really your first time. Start to concentrate on penetration and ideal heat ranges for whatever your welding. Chop up some short pipe and butt weld them together. The 'root' of your weld is really what tells you if you ...

Independence Day
Independence Day, remember what today really is about. This isnt simply a day to get drunk and play with explosives, although we really dont get enough of those days.. This is a day when our forefathers stood for something they believed in. They took a stand for what they thought was right, and have...

If you are pulling consistent long term lateral g's(which really dont exist in the track or IRL in most situations) then you just need a dry sump setup, no really other option. For 90 percent of ANY performance vehicle subject to lateral G's, even sustained ones, a 3 quart accusump will do exactly w...

If you had a front end collision that pushed the rad core in 4 inches your car would be considered totaled, and then some. The radiator core support is IIRC... like 350 dollars or so. Then you have to weld it in perfectly aligned and strait or your screwed. This is not a job for the feint of heart, ...

Sava, the ignition system on the Ka is painfully simple. Do your basic tests and check the whole system out. If everything comes back ok, then its most likely your coil going out i guess, but iv never even heard of an internal s14 coil going out. They can get fried by things, but never just failing....

I saw a holset on a dodge with the same blank block markings,....brand new truck...so dont think thats a good test for an ebay turbo... Holset turbos, unless they were polished up, always have casting numbers and random crap on their compressor housings. Their centerhousings and compressor backplat...

Well, you both really dont know what the hell your talking about. :P Exhaust wraps/coatings arnt going to make your manifold get hotter than it usually would. The fire preventative characteristics of the wrap FAR outweigh the.. Fire hazards.... You can get a silicone spray that seals the wrap and ke...

^^ Amazed you caught that. The wear marks on the cylinder walls in conjunction with the orientation of 3 of the cylinder walls scoring seems to confirm that theory. However, you still have the problem of what is most likely a broken ringland on one piston. There isnt much else that could drop your c...
