Do yourself a favor (before you blow up another engine): take the block to a machine shop to get overbored!

If you are indeed getting piston slap, you should take your block back to your machinist. Even with forged pistons, it should not be "slapping". Take a stethoscope and listen to the block and head all over. Make sure its not just a bad lifter or something.
