Sweet setup, I think I've seen it at some events.

Love the solution for being out of boost for e-brake entries.

Disregard above post. Got it installed on my work laptop using the V4 download available on SourceForge. You need to start it with a speciffic DLL that's in the install directory manually. I may look into a macro to make this easier. Took me a while to remember that the base data files are stored in...

Bumping this because I had one sitting around and it was the cheapest way I had to up the rev limit on my stock ecu. Anyone know where I can find the base tunes to use with the thing? I haven't touched this in a few years, so I forget most of what I knew. The origional site isn't up any more... but ...

I'll either run a second stock one if I want to be cheap (have a second in the tool box) and I have AFR issues... Or I'll go for the aeromotive... I had a Walbro burn out on me supper fast and I'd rather try the aeromotive unit since their FPR that's on my car is freaking flawless 3 years strong so ...

def the T28, you could even high boost like 10 psi and still only make maybe 320 crank and like 250-70 wheel and itll be a fun car Sorry but no way a T28 @ 10 psi makes that kind of power. 200-210whp depending on the tune. Either one of the rubos will be fine. Just make sure it's tune properly. to ...

T2 Turbo question

I've got my hands on an S14 T28 (journal bearing) turbo that needs a rebuild (oil seal). I'm also trying to get a 2860RS that is (supposedly) good. The question is which one to run? In either case I'll be running SR 370's w/ the stock fuel pump and they'll be internally gated. Should I run one or th...

I like to have some pressure restriction from the thermostat, but I drill holes where the bleed nipple is as well as 180 degress off of that about 1/8" diameter to prevent air pockets. Makes it easier to bleed the system as well as giving the effect of having a slightly earlier opening thermost...

No, the flow's don't dead end. The holes in the side of the block are for 'optional' flow paths. Drivers side is the block drain plug, and passenger side is for heater core / throttle body access. In all cases you see coolant arrows flowing back towards the front of the car towards the radiator afte...

But I'm waiting on weather or not he says they're in good shape or not. I'll shoot you a PM for those pics, just in case the rod...

Budget Short Block Build (need piston & vendor suggestio

I'm trying to get my spare block back together so I have a spare ready to go if I loose the stock motor thats in the car now. I'll be using it for HPDE, and want to minimize downtime in the somewhat likely event I loose a motor. I'm on a tight budget. So I'm planning to keep it to the essentials. I'...

Not bad... I can see why someone would start making a better one that fits well / doesn't leak as this guy has made.

I got one off summit a while back, and I figure its the wrong part, put it up to my spare block and it was an obvious fitment issue.

Good point, I can see how you can't really make sense of the picture as it was.

Edited the picture with arrows showing the direction of fuel flow. Assuming the fuel filter is on the feed line and not the return.

Any idea where to get some sort of base map for the biki-rom to save a bit of time?

Most of the things I've seen were pretty ****. I have one that kinda works, but it would be nice to have something already set up for a T3/T04B, 550cc injectors, and a Z32 MAF.

Disclaimer - I've been drinking all night

A MAF is basically a hot wire to determine air flow.... and turbulence which is dependent on placement can effect the readings of the unit and then make you run more or less rich/lean than you want to..... And running like poo is no fun at all.

How much boost is that trying to build, and what size injectors are you running? Do you have a wide band so you can see what the AFR does when it breaks up like that? Do you really only have an FMU for engine management? lol you'll catch more flack for that than I do for my bikirom lol. Its a shame ...

5) Don't use the E-bay FPR they leak , stock one works fine, last thing you want to cheap out on is your fuel system but If you must- the hex bolt is for adjusting pressure, the side fitting is in and the bottom out return. LOL yep - looking for a new (decent quality) one locally tomorrow. E-Bay su...
