Re: kelford intake/ex cam help!!
the intake cam will have the dowel straight inline with the first lobe. On the exhaust, if the dowel is at 12'o clock the first lobe will be at 2'o clock ish https://forums.nicoclub.com/how-to-identify-ka24de-cams-with-out-markings-t454484.html So it SEEMS like the orange is intake and green is exh...

Re: Thought I'd share $198 obx t3 manifold
Nice. I know that setup has been around for awhile but usually twice that price. I had the obx t25 manifold, nice build but the turbo flange was warped and a weird angle to making the downpipe was a pain

If your goal is only 220whp youll surpass that and itll be over built for that much even. I wouldnt worry about the higher compression, honestly.

I have 1 maverick and 1 autotech. I havent used either yet. My buddy has a maverick one on his 1jz and works great. Chris Forsberg has used the maverick one on his "missle" car

Seems like alot of extra work. I have 2 different adapter plates for vq trans to the ka. You just have to mill the vq bellhousing. Maverick and collins make adapter

Re: Help Want to make around 270hp in my 93 240sx
270hp is super easy to achieve, start searching the forum. There are a few companies that make kits, i would go with tomei if money allowed or ISR kit. Regardless i would go with a decent ecu to get a full tune on it. Z32 mafs, 550cc would be more than enough to get the goal you want

Re: Strongest 5 speed transmission
Go with a z33 6speed Please tell me why? Z33 trannies are a complete joke. Are they strong, yea sure the later models are, The gearing is terrible for a high power KA motor. If you want a good tranny go with a Magnum T56 Tranny. That will be my next swap if I find myself killing Z32 trannies. But t...

Re: Build sheet / thoughts & feedback
300 to 350whp shouldnt be an issue, especially being built like that. If youre going to stay with a Mafs then either recir the bov or put the mafs in the coldpipe. Enthalpy does some good tunes but personally im not a huge fan of off the shelf tunes, so id look into ms3 or another since youre alread...

Re: '95 Zenki KA-T build
What fittings did you use for coolant? So that will be the drain for the turbo, where will you get the feed? A few others have asked me the same question. I bought it through Summit Racing back in 2010, but they had since updated their website and I lost my order history in the process. I just spen...

Re: New Project: Mild build
Right now i run a 17x8 +30 with a 32mm spacer, actually i found out ive been running different spacers on left vs right but never felt weird. I think when i had twitchiness i had 17x9 +17 but very low caster caused me to be twitchy and have bumpsteer going straight and in drift i would never let go ...

Re: New Project: Mild build
. So a local performance shop did the alignment; still working on tweaking some settings; the front caster on one of the sides will need to change since they are fairly different. This is what the specs are after the first alignment: Front driverside / passenger side: camber= -4.7 / -4.69 caster=5....

I currently run ms2 but ive been thinking about going to infinity. Lots of my buddys run ms3 pro and have no issues, it can do about anything you need. A shop was telling me that infinity is pretty good since aem more or less had another company make it for them. If you already like series 2 the inf...

My car isnt that low right now but i plan on going a little lower. I dont have a sway bar right now, waiting on a gktech one. I drift my car so if i go over a curb i dont want to hit the pan.
