Well I have the head off now I sent it down to the machine shop to have them check it out and pressure test it. One of the exhaust manifold bolts snapped off inside the head so I'm going to have them fix that as well. I don't have an impact and btw the motor isn't in the car its in a wagon.... Long ...

So I just bought a project ka24de and i'm stripping it down to the bare essentials and dropping forged piston's and rod's in it... I'm however stuck and don't know how to get the upper timing chain off. What do i have to do in order to get the timing chain off so I can remove the head from the block...
