If you can put a pressure gauge on your cooling system, it will tell you if you are over pressurizing your system. it takes some balls to get into rallying but if you set you mindset to it i think you can get somewhere with that 240 ... just get a good feel of the track first before you slide into turns like Mcrae (Rip) good luck with you build man and keep us updated
i guess what hes thinking is, lightweight crank puley = more power ... its like saying removing your a/c and p/s will give you more power .... not really the rpm response might be a bit different, such as when u put in a lightweight flywheel ,...
if you can get the whole motor assembly under $100 i would consider that a good deal, i would not worry as much about the cylinder heads valve train when i comes to the overheating portion as much as the blocks internals, before you get it just make sure its turning over smoothly by hand, of course ...

as i sit here drinking my becks i though i would give you guys a little update on Dotsie, as of about a month ago i put the body back on the frame, i found a guy that has the same one and he cut it into pieces to part it out, so next year im making a little road trip to pick up most of the parts he ...
yea i got the same hoist from harbor freight, works fine for me, used it about 20 times or so, even managed to pull a v12 jaguar motor with it, not to mention i hoisted my datsun body with it for few minutes lol
