That pin makes sure the flywheel gets put on in the same orientation to not disturb the balance of the rotating assembly. If you have changed your clutch and flywheel it wont really matter but if you've had balancing done it most definitely will.

Ok time for a short review. Got the cams two days ago, also got a pm stating there is a 90 day warranty. Here's what was sitting outside followed by a shot of the intake cam when it was pulled from the bag and oil paper. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q123/keytops/Working%20on%20cars/cambox.jpg ...

check all ic piping. I've had a nostart becasue a coupler came undone. Also even though gas comes out there still may not be enough pressure. I had the hose that connects the pump to hardline in the tank burst, so taking off the hose at the fuel filter would cause gas to flood out but there was actu...

There is a such thing as used AEMs, I have two V1s both had for 500. one of them 3 years ago from here on ka-t for 91-94 and another for 97-98 from zilvia a month ago. tuning from the famous mitch peaterson $400 (2 hours dyno time and two hours his time) so roughly $900 for everything. Issues with a member (ka24de-ts)

Just posting this for all to see. Back in March ka24de-ts was parting out his car, I paypaled him $670 for, ka head with dual ex cams, dual bc springs, bc valves, and professionally ported and polished. A timing chain set and some ARP flywheel bolts. Well the timing chain and bolts supposedly got se...

Seized? as in with the knuckle on the joint and shock disconnected it does not budge? You in a snowy area? Those ball joints are extremely stiff. None the less my vote is still for modding those GS with the better heims. Much more reliable and cost effective. I live right by MAX and know many people...

Neither studs nor bolts will distort the main bores, a KA is not a chevy small block where the threads are .150 away from the bores. The advantage studs have over bolts has to do with applied torque. Bolts do provide a pulling force but also twist which causes problems and stresses the fastener whic...

Pistons, rods, oil pump internals (not the cover itself), and chains are the same. The HG can be used but the front of the gasket where is seals against the timing covers is not long enough, It is possible to reuse that portion of your old gasket plus RTV to seal it but this is mickey mouse.

He's talking about the pulsed air injection for the exhaust. When you let off the gas it opens up allowing extra air to flow to the cat so it can burn residual fuel and clean itself. You can plug it if needed. That line should not be open. That line is for the charcoal canister, plug all lines from ...
