somebody also mentioned something about the coolant temp sensor being bad? could this cause the engine to run as terribly as it is? i mean it starts but takes a bit, (like its flooded) and then dies like 10sec later.

You can use either, I have an auto tps, and it does just fine. Dnt worry bout the extra plug on there, its for an auto trans.

well after looking over all my couplers, i found nothin. had the car idling in the driveway with the hood open and heard a hissing sound by the throttle body. !!!! i found that one of the tiny emissions pipes that need to be plugged, wasnt. so grabbed a plug from the garage and popped that sucker on...

#4 ull have to do that bolt first. pull the elbow far away from the stud to get the nut in there, then continue with the others.

any update on this? searching around, i found that the coupler off the turbo to the hotpipe got melted a bit from being too close to the manifold. i took it off, and found a tiny slice in it and was hoping that was gunna be the cause of the problem. mk yea cuz i didnt know too much about a/f ratios for a turboed car. what i do know..or think.. from being on here is that under boost you want 11.5-13 a/f but i wasnt sure about idle. i think i heard somethin before that you want it richer than a n/a car so i was tryin to go towards 13.8-14 or so.....

ok, so upon wiring, the diagram said that my power wire is at pin 4 which should be a black/white wire on the ecu. Mines red. plus ive read that when people wired into this red wire, it didnt power their safc.

what wire do i splice into for my safc2?

this is going on a 93 s13 btw.
