An update... Well I got ahold of an S13 DE EGR tube. Got the engine into the car. Pounded the hell outta the undercarriage to get the DP end of the LTH to fit... Got the long tube header on the engine, bolted up. And then I went to put on the EGR tube... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/arrosp...

I'm right because I found proof. Or are you bothering to read? :P I didn't just make it up. Just because I came in the thread with correct info that a few of you don't agree with doesn't make me wrong. I took the effort to explain and even find proof to back me up. It seems like the only people here...

 lol big words, small words, I'm still correct :P

The S14 cast manifold fits an SR downpipe? Are you certain? I had thought you needed to cut and extend the SR downpipe... your Tanabe was tall enough to mate directly to the S14 flange?

I've been involved in turbocharging since the S13 was a new car, and many of the guys who were my experts and mentors had been in turbocharging since the early days of carb'd setups, before computer-controlled setups were an option. .........................we have a turbo master tech in ...

That's totally false. This as bad as people calling the tiny little guns "dillingers" when they are actually called "derringers", or people who say "funner". A "downpipe" is the section of exhaust before the cat, or where the cat would normally be. On an NA en...

Your friend is a complete idiot... letting the wheels spin while the tires in the air puts no load on the clutch what so ever. It might as well be idling in neutral. Same goes for the simulated highway condition, that would put little to no load on the plate. The idea is the wear the clutch plate b...

Try a clue. I'm not a troll. I just get annoyed when interlopers come in and take a big stinky dump in the wrong sections. I love VW's, I own a 91 'Rado G60, and would rock a GTI of any generation. Don't need a welder, you can get pre-bent mandrel sections, cut them, and use silicone couplers from a company such as Turbonetics, or from some Ebay vendors. Or even truck radiator hose with premolded bends.

I came in here expecting a discussion of the block's cylinder wall strength, you guys are confusing "stock longblock" for "stock block", and at the very least the title of the thread should be changed,

But it's nice to know that a healthy stock longblock can do what it can do.

Anyone have an S13 KA24DE tube lying around from their conversion? I need an S13 DE tube, not the S14 tube I have now.

Just wire your positive off the cig lighter, and use one of the ground points for the radio for ground. Then you can just daisy chain wires where ever you need to from there. I don't like to use the cig lighter because we all tend to run phone chargers and other accessories off of that. Also, if yo...
