Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but... The anti-surge housing allows air to move more freely back into the turbo inlet especially during times when there is a high volume of air that isn't going into the engine. For example - a shift. If you're on the throttle and your system if flowing at f...

I have emailed Blueridge about the manifold and downpipe. I'm consider trying it as long as they can answer my questions. It isn't a bad price at all for the manifold with the down pipe. Has anyone else heard anything about their company?

Welcome, Jay! I want to see some of your fiberglass work! I always thought it would be sweet to cage up a Stanza, convert to RWD, and build it up. Do you plan on building up the KA24E or swapping to a DE? NA, Supercharged or Turbocharged? Keep us posted! I love seeing different cars on here!

The primary reason why you tack weld sheet metal is to prevent distortion along the panel length and width. If you tried to weld a continuous bead, the heat that you put into the panel could warp it. If you tack it, you put just down just enough to mechanically fasten it all along its edges. I've s...

HMIC with Blow-Through MAF setup question

I've been looking into a high mount intercooler setup and was concerned that there would not be enough of a straight piping before and after the MAF. Any thoughts? I'm looking at this one for an S13: http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/page.php?11

If you have a battery charger, hook it up for a couple of hours and then see if it starts later.

Welcome! At 180,000 miles, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider valvesprings and retainters. Valve float develops when the springs are old and robs some power. With that said, there are a lot of people on here that don't touch the head of the motor when rebuilding for turbo. I guess I'm just ...

Pardon the noob question, but is there any concern you should have when using a 90 degree silicone bend straight out of the compressor? I've read about them blowing out from other people, but I don't know how frequent that happens.
