Re: Starting Issues
So issue has been fixed and the car is running again. The issue was the 2 bolts holding in the distributor were loose causing the timing to be way off. Fixed the timing and the car runs great now.

Re: Starting Issues
I am not sure about getting fuel, I need to run a fuel pressure test to check that. I am getting spark.
Also, I have not messed with the cam timing at all but was wondering if the chain jumping a link would cause an issue like this.
I'll update after some more investigating.

Starting Issues
First I was wondering what the compression test numbers for 8.5:1 JE pistons should be. Now the issue(s). The car was running lean so I changed a fuel injector after pulling the injector wires one at a time and pulling #3 made no difference. My first thought was injector because one went out about a...

Those are the plugs for the auto to manual conversion, you just disconnect it from the tranny harness if your car was originally a manual

What's the setup on the new s14? I like the numbers from the s13 setup, when were you hitting full boost (19psi) with it?

Isis SS brake line install and review
Figured I would post up an install and review of my new Isis SS lines that I got from Enjuku Racing I got some of the Isis stainless steel brake lies from Enjuku racing since the stock rubber lines are over 20 years old and I have auto-x’d my car and am planning to do more events. These lines are a ...
Re: ha
Waiting until I'm out of school to get all the turbo goodies. Driving nicely though and does decent in the snow with blizzaks on the rear and 2 sand bags in the hatch. I do have to replace the entire rack and pinon assembly this spring though. :/

I really like the look of the front end but am not sure about the tail lights. Kind of like the round look since it is part of the vett's history

AFC Neo tuning question
I know that AFC Neos are not the best to tune with but I got it since I am running a z32 maf andd needed a way to compensate for that. I have a ka24de with forged rods and pistons (9:1), dual exhaust cam set up and am using a z32 maf with stock injectors. It is currently NA. The current tune runs gr...

Sorry it took me so long to get back here. It looks like I was only running rich at idle so I have the SAFC set at -5 at 500rpm, -5 at 800rpm, and -8 at 1100 rpm. While cruising at partial throttle I am hitting a almost perfect 14.7 but at WOT I am at 12.7 so I need to lean it out a bit. Hope this h...

AFR Issues
While idling the AFR starts at 13 then slowly goes up to 17 before dropping to 12 and starts the cycle over. Also it is now at 17 ish when I press the gas it will hesitate then the AFR will drop and the car will take off. I have a AFC Neo (I know not the best ting just using it so I can use the Z32 ...

Yeah I was kind of confused by that wondering where else you would put the MAF. The wide band replaced the factory o2 sensor and I wired the narrow band signal directly to the ecu. Next time I take it out I will try and rev it to 3k. I did have a Q regarding the n62 wiring. I have the white wire goi...

240-kid I have the Innovate MTX-L wide band O2 sensor and guage, the MAF is just after the filter at the end of an intake tube. If that is what you are asking. Beserker while driving my afr stays close to 9.6 up to 2k rpm, I haven't gone over 2k yet since I am breaking in the engine. As far as I kno...

I thoght that the SAFC compensated for the differences in MAFs by having a different hotwire IN setting then the hotwire OUT setting as stated in this post http://forums.nicoclub.com/bigger-maf-theory-questions-t72840.html I can't really find anyone that is using a z32 MAF for an n/a ka24de. The onl...

SAFC NEO Question
So I finally put in my built de that is n/a for now but I am running extremely rich, around 9.6 afr, during idle and partial throttle. I have tried adjusting the hotwire settings, currently 2in 5out, but the afr isn't affected (have a z32 MAF ). I have also tried changing the air map but that doesn'...

MSD boost timing controller
I was wondering if anyone uses this product to tune their car at all. I was wondering if it is possible to use this and an safc NEO to run a small turbo setup ( thinking an 18g at around 7 psi), until I upgrade to Nistune. I am asking because I have the opportunity to get one half off.
Thanks
Thanks
