I'll have to try check that when I get a chance.

What are the chances of bent valves?
Just finish replacing the head gasket. It appears I timed the intake and exhaust cams @ 20* advance in correlation to the crank. The car has not started, but I am able to spin the crank by hand. I have attempted to start it a few times, but have not officially got it to start. I realized that I also...

Need help with timing under the curve/ whole timing map
The consensus seems to be subtract .75* per lb of boost and then add timing from there. .75* definitely feels laggy. I've been looking at a lot of the maps on here and they all seem to follow the same basic rule and be generally linear towards redline. However, my understanding is that timing increa...

Yup, o2 sensor was just worn out. Biglouka-t, have you tried the headphone output on the megasquirt pnp2? I gave it a listen yesterday and it's pretty cool, but it sounds like I have alternator whine as well.

Re: Weird Fueling Issues
It's an MTX-L wideband. Ground is on the same ground as chassis ecu. Analog output of 0 volts to 5 volts. I ran the car rich to about 10.5 at idle and shut the car off. Then looked at tuner studio 0-5 volt o2 gauge and put that voltage value in plus what the mtxl wideband was saying for the custom c...

Weird fueling issue.
Having a weird fueling issue. Log and tune are in the link. Could it be that my MAT curve screwed things up during my pull? Fuel pressure regulator seems to be holding fuel fine. Wideband was ran to 10.5 at idle and then the car was killed and I watched the wideband slowly lean out. I adjusted the m...

Weird Fueling Issues
Can someone take a look at my log and give me an idea of what might be the issue? I'm not sure if my fuel pressure regulator is relieving on and off intermitenly, or my wideband o2 sensor needs to be replaced. The gauge dips widely while boosting. It's an MTX-L gauge. It has been recently free air c...

Re: Calculating driveway slope for my new house.
Thanks bro, this is just the model home. We are building from the ground up. I made sure our future home had a 3 car garage for all my projects. It will be done in May. Sadly I'm for seeing longer build times and major budget cuts for car. At least I got place that will allow me to crossover to LS3 ...

Calculating driveway slope for my new house.
Just bought a new house and they are building from the ground up. It looks like the driveway maybe a little steep due to the location of the lot. Of course I want my drive way with as little slope as possible, but now I am just curious on how to calculate the angle of a slope. S14 wheel base: wiki 9...

Re: Accel Enrichment Issues
Thanks for pointing that out. I meant to set it to .3. That was a huge part of my problem. I've also noticed that making changes to the AE table had to be burned before Megasquirt would respond to any of my new inputs. I was chasing my tail for a long time trying understand why none of my inputs mad...

Re: Accel Enrichment Issues
Matt, would you mind labeling the graph that logs AFR,TPSdot, and MAPdot? I think it would be easier for me and other users as well to see what part of the bottom portion of the screen adjust what portion of the real time graph logger. For instance, where the afr dips to the bottom of the graph (2 s...

I'm having issues with take offs and in between shifts. I feel like I understand the concept, but yet I unable to correctly tune my acceleration enrichments. My tune and log are in the link. Re: Sanity check and questions.
What are you using to get a boost signal? Now that you are getting comfortable, do a log of your 3rd or 4th gear pull and load it onto virtual dyno to see where you're at.

Re: Sanity check and questions.
You will have to do a pull when the turbo is on to actually see what part of the load you end up in. 8psi is roughly 19* of timing with a .75 spark reduction. The thing that most people get confused with is running off of boost pressure. Air flow is what makes power. Turbos flow different amounts of...

Re: Spark Timing Myths Debunked for noobs
I understand that 12.5 is the optimal ratio for turbo vehicles, but why is 11.5afr preached for street tuning? They say a rich air fuel burns slower and we should retard about .75* of timing per 1lb of boost for a rough street tune. If that is the case, we must be street tuning our cars to an extrem...
