Re: Ka24det spark/fuel crank no start
Does witchhunter sell it's own brand of injectors now? I've been using them for probably 18 years for cleaning injectors, but hadn't heard that. They always did good work on injector cleaning for me. Gosh, I remember linking to them from the very first version of the https://www.diyautotune.com/ pro...

Re: D22 navara turbo
I would have to double check with my tech support guys (support@diyautotune.com) but there's a decent chance our MSPNP Gen2 (MSPNP-NS9501b) will drop right into that thing. If not, and MS3Pro definitely would do the trick, and nicely, with a ton of features you're not going to get with a factory ECU...

Re: D22 navara ka24e turbo
Better to go for an aftermarket ECU. Why? What does spending $1k get him with his setup that nistune doesn't? (I'm assuming he's got the nistune already.) Honestly-- you can do a whole heck of a lot with a proper standalone ECU in these cars. Ability to delete the MAF which makes a little more powe...

Check the MSPNP Stuff out-- I'm not sure what year your car is, didn't see that above, but we have a few models that are directly PNP and get you up and running fast. Here's a link to our 240sx PNP ECUs

Re: Car made 100hp less than it should have
Hello! This is my first post here, but I’ve been looking through these forums for a good while now. Yesterday, I got my car dyno tuned, and was very surprised with the power it made. At 15 psi, the car only made 225 horsepower. At 15 psi, I was expecting something much stronger along the lines of 3...

Everything is runing But cannot get it to run with the DIY trigger wheel megasquirt pnp2 with the stock wheel it runs and idles. What model MSPNP Gen2? We have three for various KA24DE cars: 1989-1994 https://www.diyautotune.com/product/megasquirtpnp-g2-ns8994-for-the-89-94-nissan-240sx-manual-tran...

It that the pre-assembled one? What injectors are you running? What all did you end up ordering? I see the trigger wheels and tuning cable. They dont make a preassembled ecu for s14 yet. I guess I am going to have beercan do mine, seeing as I suck at soldering and do not have the proper setup. Your...

It's also pretty packed up with features, you could build a standard MS2 out to do everything this box will do, but it would take some doing. Full Featureset info and docs are here: http://diyautotune.com/diypnp/features.html But in a nutshell: # OEM ECU Connector to plug right into the factory harn...

Just did alot of reading trying to catch up here... I'd agree 2 heat ranges colder than stock for 7-9 psi is probably too much. 6 range plugs should be good. 7's will likely foul and make spark blow out more likely. Too much fuel will cause spark blow out, as will weak spark. There's no chance you'r...

How to MegaSquirt your KA
Alright guys, we've had the article together for a while now, many have used it. That said we're always open to feedback to improve what we've got here. Our articles typically focus on gaining ignition control which is the most confusing part of the process for most people. The MS1-Extra Manual at h...

What 480sx said is spot on really. It could save you some work to start with a well tuned base map for a similar car/engine setup, mostly in the areas of determining initial timing values, startup parameters (cranking PW) and whatnot. But as for the base maps themselves they'll need to be tuned to y...
