Question about some part numbers
Had our service writer at work order my some inner valve springs and seats directly from Nissan a month or so ago. I dont guess I was specific enough and I only received 8 springs and 8 seats. All look to match me OE Intake inner springs, but I looked today and can't find a definite part number on t...

Re: Project Wishful Thinking
I got all three heads torn apart and the old cams and lifters are ready to send to Omar at O&J Performance. Hopefully I'll have my cam and solid lifters in the next couple weeks. The rest of the head should come together pretty quickly aside from the machine work and intake manifold as I'll prob...

Everything looks really nice man. I've been looking pretty vigorously through your thread, and Zach's thread. PM me if you don't mind. I'm sure I have a few stupid questions you could help me out with.

Re: Project Wishful Thinking
I'm calling Omar at O&J Performance tomorrow sometime to talk about ordering their Solid Lifter Conversion and their Stage 2 Cam. Those are the two most major mechanical parts I have left. Everything else should start to flow in pretty steadily after those are out of the way. I have to decide on...

I've really been slacking in my build lately. Re-read a lot of your thread for motivation again. It worked, as always.

I know OandJ offers a metal intake mani gasket. I was just browsing head gaskets and ran across this one.

Re: Victor Reinz Nitroseal Headgasket
rockauto.com appears to offer one. I'm searching under 1990 240sx as that's what model my KA is from....so it should be for the SOHC. Worth looking into

Victor Reinz Nitroseal Headgasket
Was just wondering if any of the SOHC guys not wanting to cut up a Cometic had decided to run a Victor Reinz Head Gasket instead of a felpro. If so, would you recommend? or just go with the rubber felpro?

Questions on removing wires
I'm about to begin my attempt a wire tuck on my SOHC S13, really as something productive to do while I'm waiting on funds for the head build. I know a lot of you are just going to tell me how pointless it is and that's okay. It's something I want to do both for the look and the hellacious experience...

Q45 Throttle Body Question
I went to my local Pull-a-Part this past weekend and pulled the throttle body off of a 1994 Q45 to use on the KA I'm building. I assume the heaping mass on the front is some sort of traction control option. My simple question is does this matter? Can I use it? Or do I throw it on EBay and buy a non ...

Emissions Questions
This is probably one of those questions that gets asked every 3 weeks, and if that's the case then I apologize. I've searched to no avail....but maybe I'm just searching for the wrong thing. I live in Tennessee and in my county we DO have to pass emissions for street driven cars. After my car is don...

Bronze Valve Guides
The bottom end is done, and I'm getting ready to start on the head build. I've been doing my parts research (both oem and aftermarket) and I've found that oem valve guides from Nissan are $20 a pop. I've found a full set of Bronze Guides on eBay (here: http://bit.ly/XhnEXS) for $100. My question is:...

Back from my hiatus. The bottom end is together, and now that the 240 is down....the build has taken yet another turn. Looks like I'll be going a lot deeper into the car than I expected. This will take a lot of money and time.....but I'm convinced (regardless of what all the SR kids tell me) that it...
