Sounds like timing chain guide probs/broken. I have ran over a year old gas in a car/lawnmower/etc w/no problems. If its like 2+ years old then you might want to look at that.

Yes, the abs sensors for the rear are on the diff, not the spindle/hub. It's only the front hubs/spindles that have the sensors and pickups that you have to worry about for s chassis, obviously the fronts aren't comaptible from the z32's.

I dont remember which sandwich adapter plate I used(Basically the same thing you're looking at) but I successfully ran one w/no leaks or problems so I could keep the oem sensor and route the feed line in any direction desired w/out excessive bending of the line(W/out using an fittings etc...)

Riiiight lol, either that^ or all of this injector dropping has caused an o ring to break/leak and is dumping fuel.

I'd go w/option b, and wouldn't shave any off your pan fitting. With the increased angle upwards towards the pans ridge it may cause mounting issues when fastening the swivel fitting. From the sounds of it you are asking about the TOB itself which is pressed on to the retainer. The retainer slides on the input shaft/sleeve/thing that likes to break and leave you sol,lol. But yea its held on by a clip on the shift fork.
