Re: portuguese 240 ka
nice build, like looking at these international ka-t builds. as far as the blue smoke, check engine compression, should tell u if piston or valve is bad. if compression is good, then the turbo may be bad.

yeah, by installing a crank position sensor you should be able to delete the cam signal. the ecu just needs to know where the piston is at for it to fire. it can be gotten from either distributor or crank.but if you do so from crank, you will have to weld a gear into it and then run a COP setup. som...

excessive manufacturing sells a windage tray for ka's, this might help with the cornering and what not. i myself have had 2 rodknock engines, usually the 3rd goes out first. no main bearings just rod bearings.

from what i've read around. import injectors are usually 11mm and domestic injectors are 14mm. more than likely you have domestic injectors which then would be 14mm. you can check the part number of the injector on precision's website, it'll let ya know if its sport compact/import or if its domestic.

don't put anything in there as that can get out and possibly get into your input shaft and clutch. i believe the brass bearing is self lubed and will go easy in there, i would sugest using the clutch alignment tool to push it in as that wont deform it like using a socket or something like that. and ...

the competition clutch white bunny setup, if you get it with the stage4 350z clutch, it should hold 500tq. i think those are around the same price and come with a lighter than stock flywheel(i think). http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/Competition-Clutch-%252d-Nissan-240SX-%22WHITE-BUNNY%22-Upgrad...

the 1 on the side of the pipe is the IACV, the 1 at the bottom next to the pipe is a air intake resonator, that is attached to the fan shroud and can be deleted. the 3 little hoses goes to egr crap, which you should probably delete unless you want to try to pass inspection. 1 is the charcoal caniste...

i didn't think you would have to clearance a FCW crank. aren't brian crower fcw cranks drop in? i could see where it might need some clearancing now but didn't think that was the case. btw i think importdps revved their ka to 10k rpm when they made that 1000rwhp run, that was with stock crank but mo...

you could probably try courtesyparts.com to see if you can find just the fork or the clip. i had an issue like that with the pilot bearing being too small, i think my issue was because of the way i was pushing the bearing inside which was causing it to deform. was it a grinding noise or more like a ...

i 've had an automatic and a manual ka24de, manual has the pin, auto didn't. if your bolts are getting loose you may have to use locktite and make sure your torque wrench is calibrated. i've never had any issues with the bolts backing out doing it that way. also when tightening do so in a star patte...
