nice!!! I heard on a freshly built motor the compression would go up when the engine breaks in and the rings settle in....I may be wrong, I would like to heard what someone has to say about that also....looks good

yeah man in 3-4 years these cars will be 30 years old, them sensors, wiring etc are worn out. im refreshing everything I can eventually.

thanks for stopping to my build thread. im going with the cam OandJperformance offers for the SOHC, im going to order it soon. Waiting on my pistons 90mm and im going to bore it again to clean it up. Once that is done ill be putting it together. I lurk here during work lol

im not an expert, but can it be loud injectors? check your cam too

when i was ticking i replaced my timing chain, it went away...this was about 40k miles ago and hella abuse later lol alot ticking came back im thinking its my rocker arms after using a scope, i replaced all of them. Ticking still there but goes away after warming up, i think its my timing chain agai...

Doing that raises static comp well above what you would want to run a turbo on. What caused the marks in the bores? was this from engine failure? How deep are they? Can you measure the distance from the top of a piston to the ring grooves on a piston, then measure down from tdc to the marks in the bores.
