Updates to my car

It has been a couple of years since I've had the car out, but I have been slowly working on it. I swapped over to a Haltech Sport 2000 and Racepak dash, added a crank trigger, swapped the valve buckets to shimless DLC coated, added a new throttle body and charge pipe.

How Many megasquirters are there here?

I'm looking at getting one and I'm wondering how many of you guys have done one. Did you have any trouble with the stock optical CAS?

Going fast for cheap

I'm sure most people will hate this. I don't like it much either. But you can't argue about the bang for the buck. Let's see anyone go quicker in a 240 for cheaper. Here is a couple of pics from a buddies car currently in the shop. The build is not up to my standards, but I've done some of the fabrication. The car is getting a new cage and paint. It has a 434CI chevy, powerglide, and ford 9". Motor makes around 1300 or so on 2 stages of juice. Should run alright.

ka24de exhaust flanges

Are there any manifold flanges other than JGS? Does anyone have a picture of that flange, or info on port alignment and quality?

S&M Racing Pics

Here are some pictures of my progress. The dash is a 2 piece design made for a GTO. I can take one side out at a time to service the clutch. The front end can be removed as one piece. Up next is paint and powder coat.

Running domestic sized top feeds

I built a manifold for my ka that will run 8 injectors. Pictures can be seen on drag240sx.com. This is for use with methanol. I have 165lb Precision injectors. I welded bungs in for the staged injectors. My question is about the injectors going in the stock location. I was told the proper way is to remove the o rings from the injector, and use the stock manifold rubber insolator to seal the injector body to the manifold. Is this correct? Anyone have any problems doing it this way?
