Its a piezoelectric sensor meaning it will make voltage when there are vibrations (or more when detonation)
Just tap the sensor and it should make a little voltage

I had the same 14.7 or --- issue and it was the sensor for me.. hopefully you just got a bad sensor.
You can get them a autozone for not too much.. The UEGO comes with a bosch sensor 17018 for 61.00 with a warranty (kragen\O'Reilly part number) Maybe try a new one from them and try it

Ive always seen boost creep as either way
If my turbo wants to go a few PSI higher under certian circumstances then why not... when its 5+ psi higher then it gets kinda dangerous with the tune

Nice work, looks like a solid car
Great numbers, it even made like 150-200hp at the beginning of the pull at low rpms

Re: Engine bearing wear change with different weight compone
I think the bearings shouldnt wear out faster unless you have bearing, oil, or huge vibration issues. I know the D21 flywheel is heavy compared to the 240sx flywheel and the bearings should look all the same.. changing the flywheel out shouldnt throw anything off because almost all shops balance the...

With the motor at TDC, take the valve cover off and see if the cams face directly away from each other.. post a pic if you can

Re: slow boost/ not holding boost
It kinda sounds like you have a massive vac leak. If you pinch off the IACV hose it shouldnt run, but im guessing its getting air elsewhere.
+1 for boost leak test again
Also if you have a big exhaust leak at the manifold it will affect spool, just FYI some people dont realize it

Re: what clutch setup are you running?
Im running a cheap D21 flywheel and clutch which should be good for about 350~
If i was in your position I would get a full faced 350z clutch. Basically a stock clutch with a little higher clamping force. That will give you smooth engagment and be able to hold 400+ for sure

Youre right, it is a sign that something isnt happy... if you check the compression it should be evenly low across the cylinders.
Have you checked ignition timing?

Re: Intake manifold gaskets
I know its not the answer you want, but you need to get a 240sx cylinder head and put it on there so the ports line up correctly (and flow better) The truck or 240 gasket fit better (cant remember which one) but its still close in some areas. RTV might help you in your situation but the head swap wo...

Take it to a pressure washer, spray everything off, then lay under the car after it dries and you should be able to see where its leaking from, its not that hard.

Re: First dyno disappointment...
I would imagine your ecu is seeing knock, or rather just thinking its seeing knock due to a bad knock sensor sub harness (the part that runs under the intake manifold) This would especially be the case if you are getting a code for the knock sensor. A little confused on the timing maps. I dont tune ...

look in the oil cap and make sure you see oil flinging around.. or make sure your oil filter is warm when the engine is running to verify the oil pump is moving oil

Just for reference I ran 5-20 with the filter housing oil psi feed. I'd get about 20-30 psi at idle and 50 cruising.. Should could go thinner when i get the engine running again. 5-30 gave the same but slightly higher PSI

It sounds like you might have other issues with your cooling system like maybe an air pocket.. too much antifreeze and not enough water will definitely effect cooling system efficiency too since water is the best heat conductor around. I use 95% water and its still safe below freezing. if you run 50...

Nothing wrong with that. Theres still a good flat surface between all of them to seal. Most importantly look at the coolant ports on the head. I had a rear coolant port on an S13 head that corroded and i had to have welded. The head is softer aluminum so it doesnt do as well against corrosion. This ...
