I'd use the 300zx switch info since you are using that maf.. just my 02
I wouldnt use the sub injector channel to enable launch control if it cuts fuel like im guessing... fuel cut and boost dont really go together

It doesnt look like you had much crap enter your oiling system, so youre probably okay, just clean everything best you can. Take the screws out of the oil pump so you dont have junk left in there.

Re: Diesel240's Kaizen S13 Build
Im not surprised at all that the pistons look how they do. KAs detonate on cylinder #3 before anything.. Its rumor that it is because it receives the most air therefore runs the leanest/hottest. Your motor looks like it just got hot and the pistons over expanded into the cylinder walls. Detonation w...

JB weld is good for things that dont move or have much stress on them like patching an oil pan or metal radiator.
If it flexes or has pressure on it like plastic tanks on a radiator or a support bar then it doesnt work very well. Intercooler piping would fall into this category

You need a tune or you have something out of wack.. a turbo motor wont last 10 seconds under boost if the conditions arent right.

Re: maf located outside the bay?
That would work but i would be better to have a straight pipe between the filter and maf... it really is next to impossible in a 240 bay. Also i'd be worried about sucking water up.. not to mention road heat doesnt help. Blow through works great, especially if you are tuning for it.
